Small but fun little area. Playstation 3 hooked up to a Fujitsu 42" plasma. I think the plasma rocks the world out of the LCD in the clubroom. Others disagree here, debates ensue.
Audio pours out of a Yamaha YSP Sound Projector sound bar. Its really amazing how the sound bar can recreate sound that feels like there are speakers to the side and behind you.

Smart Home: Green + Wired exhibit opened at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. The exhibit is a pre-fab modular home, designed by Michelle Kaufmann Designs (MKD), and its surrounding landscape, designed by Jacobs/Ryan Associates.

This is a scene I designed for the showroom. The concept is of an outdoor area usually scene outside of big movie theaters. The faux stone is made out of Coral Lite architectural foam. The framed panels are imagery printed on fabric wrapped around 1" acoustic panels. The scene was originally designed with imagery of Movie Posters.
We enlisted Ken McCullough of Think Mechanical to show us three choices for high efficiency water heaters: 1. A power vented high efficiency gas tank; 2. A tankless water heater, and; 3. Its amazing how the walls look green in these shots, they are actually a graphite gray color. The soffits are fabric wrapped, and the framed panels are images transfered to fabric and wrapped in 1" acoustic panels. I did the graphics a few years ago for a "Night Club Themed" theater at CEDIA 2005. We refinished the frames and are now using them in our listening room.
