We have watched the rise in ownership of these little Smart cars since some of our earliest trips to England. I told Rob way back then, we should try to get in on a dealership to bring them to the USA.
This is the first Smart car to appear in Jackson, Alabama. I'm not sure if Smart even has a dealer in Alabama. This car's temporary tag is from Colorado. The car's owner is obviously a big a fan of the University of Alabama.

My Mercedes Benz Smart Car Passion Coupe- This is the same car that is sold in Europe and has the same engine as the gas powered units sold there that is made by Mercedes Benz. It is a small "city" type car but is capable of highway speeds. The fuel tank holds only 8.3 gal of gas but with a mileage rating of 55mpg that should let it go over 400 miles before you have to refuel.
