Well I'll bet that is what the folks at the grocery store think...when they see Daisy sashay through their door nearly every day at three thirty or so. 😉
Seen returning from the 2019 Buses Festival is one of Green Bus' Presidents. It is currently their only green President with a Volvo chassis, all of their others in green are Tridents.
TheGreenBus' V95 MOA (395) is seen turning off New Road onto Church Street, Studley, having dropped off two passengers on the return leg of the journey from Gaydon. Green Bus charged £5 for a return ticket for passengers (which didn't include admission), but considering the distance covered, and the price of alternative transport, this was very good! V95MOA was new in December 1999 to Travel West Midlands, as their 4095. It was initially allocated to Yardley Wood and has also spent time at West Bromwich and Birmingham Central. National Express West Midlands (NXWM) withdrew it in late 2016, which 2017 seeing it be purchased by The Green Bus. It is a Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President.
Woodstones Coaches' BU16 UWW and BV17 CME are seen parked on Church Green West, outside St Stephen's Church. On the LED of both is "School Children," but seeing as there was none around I took the photo. Both wear the rather smart livery of the Kidderminster based operator. BV17CME was new in March 2017 to Woodstones and BU16UWW was new a year earlier in 2016 to the smart operator. The two coaches are Volvo B8R/Plaxton Leopard vehicles.

... io sono diverso ... mi faccio una Smart!
I am happy to introduce my new girl, Smart Doll Ebony! I think I'll name her Mushroom. She was a birthday gift from my husband, I was so shocked at such a gift, I am very thankful.
She is so much cuter in person. I love her skin color, it's perfect, and mushroomy! I l also love that she came with green eyes, and they look better than my DD's acrylic defaults. I'm really surprised with how high quality this doll is, there are a lot of little things that I think make this doll stand out from others.
The biggest and most groundbreaking thing I love about this doll: the support socket stand!!! I can't believe no one else has done this with their dolls yet, it makes everything about owning this doll easier. I can just set her anywhere and not worry about her falling over, she is very easy to keep in poses, and the stand is barely noticeable. I wish all my larger dolls had a support stand like this. It will even hide easily under dresses, and I imagine it will make drafting patterns easier.
Her jeans, wig, eyes, shoes, boots, and bag that she came with are very high quality and worth the price. The boots especially. I think her boots are the highest quality doll shoe I've ever come across, they have supports in the back of the heel and toe area just like a real shoe, and they are lined with a cream very thin suede. The soles of the shoes are a nice rubber so they really grip the floor when posing your doll around, it's a nice feature.
I highly recommend this doll do anyone who has interest, she really impressed me.
This doll is so awesome!!! I'm totally in love! She is so adorable!!!
Everything about this doll just seems so nice. I have two Dollfie Dreams so I guess I can compare her to those since they are both vinyl dolls, but if I had to choose which I like better I would pick the Smart Doll (however I like both SD and DD faces equally).
Even though she only comes with basic casual clothes, I actually prefer it this way. Both of my Dollfie Dreams (DDS Akira and Ranka Lee) came with weird looking elaborate outfits that really added to the cost, even though I only wanted the base doll. I don't like paying for extras like that. SD Ebony's default clothing is worth the price alone in just the jeans!!! Seriously these jeans are really nice, the distressing looks professional and they have a good fit.
The other two good items that make it worth the price are the shoes and the wig. Ebony's default wig is higher quality than other BJD wigs I have. Before I opened her I was like "meh, just a wig, right?", but after I tried it on, I was surprised again at the quality. It doesn't look overly puffy with too much hair, and even with the less hair the wigcap doesn't show through anywhere! And to top it off, even though it's a dark colored wig, THE WIGCAP IS LIGHT COLORED! I really, really, really wish other wig companies would start doing this!!! This is proof that it can be done: a dark colored wig that doesn't show the wigcap that is a light colored, non-staining interior!
And the shoes! If you get one of these dolls, buy extra boots! Just do it, it's worth the cost. They are awesome, just like miniature real shoes. All of my doll boots are so stiff at the ankle, they can't bend, but the Smart Doll ring boots I have, the leather is soft enough to pose the ankle!
And she is so lightweight! Lighter than a Dollfie Dream, so she is easy to carry around, and her stand that plugs into her butt makes it sooooo easy to pose. You can even put her in a sitting pose and the stand will hold her, or even crazy weird stuff. Her joints are pretty tight and can hold a bit of weight, so she doesn't budge. My DD's knees sometimes can't support some standing poses, so I'm happy with Smart Doll's strength! She doesn't skip out at the gym.
Sorry I keep rambling about this doll! I've been collecting many types of dolls now for 8 years so I didn't really expect any surprises when I opened her. I'm so used to dolls being so floppy/loose or hard to pose/stand, so the greatest aspect about Smart Doll is how stable they are.

Seen only a few weeks after being repainted into the smart two tone blue is one of Redditch's older Streetlite examples. This example was the first Streetlite to be branded up in the later version of the Solihull Signature branding, which was short lived due to loosing most of the contracts less than two years later. That branding I admittedly liked, but this two tone blue I much prefer and it looks really smart.
Diamond's GN14 LPL (30167) is seen on Trevelyan Crescent, passing the Drayton Avenue stop with a 15 towards Bridge Street, Stratford-upon-Avon. The 15 is operated by both Diamond and Stagecoach Midlands (in Warwickshire). Diamond's 15 operates between Bridge Street, West Green Drive and Bishopton, with Stagecoach's route operating between Bishopton, Stratford, Wellsbourne, Warwick and Leamington Spa. GN14LPL was new in March 2014 to Regent Coaches. When acquired by the Rotala PLC's Diamond Bus division, it was put into use at their Redditch depot in the standard single tone blue. It is a Wright Streetlite DF (Door Forward).
The third generation of the Smart Fortwo was introduced in 2014. Nowadays it's only available with an electric motor. Like the electric Mercedes-Benz models it's labeled EQ. In 2020 the model was facelifted for the last time. Soon there will be a new and larger Smart #1 built in China in a joint-venture with Geely.
Yet another selective coloring from Italy, a blue Smart this time.
Have a fabulous weekend everyone.

Seen still looking very smart and tidy is one of Dudley's coaches. Being a smaller operator, they take pride in their fleet, whether they're on their excursions or schools (when I went to school on their coaches, I was always happy with their fleet as they are quite interesting).
Dudley's Coaches' S577 KJF is seen dropping passengers off on the Kinwarton Road, just before School Road while spending the day operating the free shuttle service for the Alcester food festival. Dudleys always operate this, and as I had spare time before work, I decided to drive to their Park & Ride site and give the service a go. I was rather impressed again, but it was busy (especially compared to my old school run which only had about 10 people on at most...) S577KJF was new to Fowler Coaches and is a Volvo B10M-62/Plaxton Excalibur. It carries the name "The Flyford Connection II."
Paul Smart (23 April 1943 – 27 October 2021) .A great British motorcycle racer - he is famous for winning the Imola 200 on 23 April 1972, at age 29, riding Ducati's new 750 racer, based on the GT750 roadster. Ducati paid his airfare and £500 wages.

These are the overall new ultracap, smart hybrids for route H12, yet to enter service on the allocated route though.
