Belkin 10-port switched outlets. that remote control down there activates/deactivates the switched outlets (8 of em). the two outlets up top are always-on.
I got this from Amazon for like $35 so that I could wire up my home theatre and easily shut everything down when I'm out of town. Unfortunately, the remote came DOA from the factory, so my Saturday project was spoiled. The gigabit switch was $40 from Amazon - I have the same 10/100 tucked away behind my plasma right now and since most of my network is gigE, I decided it was time to finally upgrade that switch.

The Smart Roadster is a two-door sports car first introduced in 2003 by Smart GmbH. Sales of the Roadster and Roadster Coupé met expectations, however warranty claims resulted in a halt of production of both models in November 2005 after 43,091 Roadsters were made. The last one now resides in the Mercedes-Benz Museum.

The new smart fortwo and forfour are codeveloped with Renault, which uses the same platform for the Twingo city car. The fortwo and forfour come with three engine options: a 60 PS base model, a 71 PS 1,0-litre and a turbocharged 90 PS 0,9-litre engine (all sourced from Renault). Unlike its predecessor it doesn't come with a diesel engine.
Its interior feels more 'premium' than before and it offers more (luggage) space. Dimensions of the new model aren't very different, except for the width which increased from 1,559 metres to 1,66 metres.
Smart Concept preview. The next-gen Smarts will be offered with a choice of two or four seats/doors. The car will be launched in November 2014. See more photos in my stream.
I am not a big fan of the Smart car, built by a Mercedes-Benz subsidiary in Strasbourg, France. Alterations to the car, to fit the requirements and market tastes for the US market, have taken away many of the advantages of Smart ownership; the larger engine required for freeway driving means fuel economy is not as great as the car's size would suggest, while US traffic codes prohibit perpendicular parking of Smarts in parallel park spaces, one huge benefit of owning a Smart in Europe.
So instead, I took a photo of the show visitors sitting on the lovely green couches.

The fortwo and forfour might look different from the outside, the dashboards are identical. Its interior feels more 'premium' than before, but since it's no longer based on the supermini Mitsubishi Colt, but instead being based on the same platform as the new Twingo, it's one class smaller. Its dashboard looks and feels classy, although not as mature as the new Hyundai i10, which is not as 'fun' as the forfour.
The Smart Disc is a Predator weapon that requires immense skill to wield - a sort of remote-controlled death frizbee buzzsaw, it can cut through nearly anything and return to the user, but catching it without losing one's fingers can be quite the task. They make great melee weapons, too, as demonstrated in Predator 2.
