Unlike the scooter, the ebike´s drive is not controlled via the throttle grip. Instead, it delivers extra power when the rider pedals. The muscle power-electric hybrid drive offers four power levels. The high-tech bike also sets standards in terms of appearance and concept, starting with the futuristic look and the discretely designed lightweight wheels to the technical features in detail. Characteristics that the ebike and the escooter have in common are typical smart design features, simple handling and the integration of smartphones: the smart drive kit app that has been further developed also performs numerous functions for the ebike, for example those of a speedometer and a navigation system.

This was the original concept work from a project in my second year. It was created to show off how you can create your own side panels for your smart car. It included 3 designs and one blank one for your own design. On the back of each insert was a fact about the Smart Car. It was to be used as a promotional product at a local event in York.

These are real, and sold by Mercedes. The manufacturer is listed as smartGmbH owned by Daimler AG and assembled in Germany and France. The Smart project was started by Swatch (watches) who entered into a joint venture with Daimler Benz to produce the cars.

This location opened in 2005, was repainted in 2011, and closed in 2021; it was originally a Bank of Hampton Roads, which was built and opened in 1967. It became Fidelity American Bank of Hampton Roads/Central Fidelity Bank in September 1976 and Wachovia in April 1998, which relocated here in summer 2003.
Not so smart when the Espace decides to reverse into your passenger door and stoves it in. Or when the Peugeot leaves and a bigger car wedges into the same space rendering your car inaccessible...
Bizarrely the Smart doesn't come up on on the DVLA site, although is on Cartell. Maybe the Espace did write it off... although I only took the picture two days ago!

This is the Lego City Smart Car. It is very compact, definately lives up to it's name!
It is miniscule compared to the sports car and even smaller compared to the Tow Truck or Street Light Repair Truck.
Vorher war an dieser Kreuzung eine Ampelanlage mit unnötigen Wartezeiten. Jetzt fließt der Verkehr ruhig und unbehindert. Die hässliche Kreuzung wurde zu einem schönen Platz. Ästhetik und Funktion. Zum Altmetall sollten aber die zahlreichen gefährlichen und jedes Foto versauenden Metallpfosten.

The new smart fortwo and forfour are codeveloped with Renault, which uses the same platform for the Twingo city car. The fortwo and forfour come with three engine options: a 60 PS base model, a 71 PS 1,0-litre and a turbocharged 90 PS 0,9-litre engine (all sourced from Renault). Unlike their predecessors they both don't come with a diesel engine.

When I took this, I had only seen one other Smart Car and it was in a parking garage on Microsoft campus. I have heard rumors that some Smart Car drivers will perpendicularly park them in parallel parking spots. I have yet to see that.
St Patrick's Cathedral in Ballarat’s church precinct along Dawson Street was built between 1857 and 1871. It was based on a design by English architect Charles Hansom, which was then modified by local architects Dowden and Ross and later by J. B. Denny who designed the eastern section. Reed, Smart and Tappin (who also designed Melbourne’s Mutual Store on Flinders Street) designed the decorations for the interior in 1891.
St Patrick's Cathedral is built of bluestone and comprises a five bay nave with aisles and clerestory, porches, transepts, side chapels, chancel and sacristies. It demonstrates outstanding craftsmanship particularly in the stencilled patterning on the boarded chancel ceiling, the stone carvings by Andrea Stombucco and the excellent examples of stained glass by Clayton and Bell of London, Mayer and Co. of Munich and Hardman and Co. of Birmingham.
The stained glass windows were introduced in 1883, the first being that in the Sanctuary. Following this were the Lady Chapel window and Blessed Sacrament Chapel window. These three windows were made in Germany and a slight variation in colour to the other windows can be noticed. The remaining windows were gradually added to, until the final one in 1910. Of these, the first was presented by the Loreto Sisters representing St Brigid. On the opposite side of the narthex is St Patrick’s window, donated by the third Bishop, Bishop Higgins. Both these windows have the Holy Spirit uppermost. The side windows depict the parables.
The cathedral is significant for its association with the important English architect Charles Francis Hansom (1817 – 1888) who played a prominent role in the Gothic Revival in England during the 1840s. A number of his church designs were built in Victoria, sometimes modified by local architects, including St Patrick’s Church, Port Fairy and St Augustine’s Church, Creswick. St Patrick's Cathedral is Hansom's largest cathedral design in Australia, apart from the Adelaide Cathedral.
St Patrick's Cathedral is also significant for its association with the leader of the English Gothic revival movement, Augustus Welby Pugin (1812 – 1852), through J. B. Denny. Mr. Denny, who had worked with Augustus Pugin in England, was responsible for the final form of the cathedral.
The participation of the local community in financing a church of such an impressive scale demonstrates the importance placed in the church as a symbol of the faith and identity of the Catholic community in Ballarat.
