Little Diego. One ear up, one ear down, one tooth left. 11, and abandoned. He came from the same shelter as our little Piglet. They get to live out their (adorable) golden years with us. Senior rescues are THE BEST. He came to us fully trained: sit, down, speak, dance, roll over, shake; he came to us fully housebroken; and he came to us calm and sweet as can be. I cannot say enough about bringing home tiny little senior rescues! He will be going to the Farmers' Market with us on weekends (Piglet too) as an ambassador for senior animal rescue.
Did you know 4 pound dogs were capable of experiencing crises? Well. This one is. Poor little Orville Peck - it’s a giant world when you’re a little bubba.
When I saw this absurd fascinator for dogs, in homage to the Grinch and his dog Max, I knew I had to stick it on Piglet's head. We took advantage of the snowy afternoon and evening and drank mulled wine, set up the studio lights, and took holiday portraits of the pets. All four dogs, and four of six cats cooperated! Piggie still isn't sure about modeling, but has come a VERY long way since she came home 10 months ago. She's even smiling!

Young Pug abandoned in my neighborhood June 2007. Obnoxiosly active and thoroughly charming! Found a home for him through Pug Rescue but I still miss him. July 2007.
