With the lack of much interesting happening in my corner of the railfan world, I've been picking off shots one by one extremely close to home that I've always wanted with more interesting locomotives. With CSX the new chief boot knocker in the area, better power just isn't coming along very often, so might as well just hold my nose and fire away. Here's M427 taking the designated CSX track just before entering the Lincoln Square Tunnel on the lower reaches of the P&W Gardner Branch - their link between the B&A at CP 45 and former Pan Am trackage at Barber. If you look carefully you can see the sign for MP1, passing a couple of 'mobile' Worcester residences on the way. I eschewed the usual shot atop the WPI Gateway parking garage, in favor of an angle not done quite as often. Thanks to the birdy for letting me know when they were pulling up anchor and heading west.

The Ruby-crowned Kinglet would prefer we don't know it's royalty, unless it's upset, excited, or worried...or trying to impress a potential spouse. Most of the time it hops around pretending it doesn't have a pretty ruby crown. I don't know if that's slumming, or getting to know your people.

I always like to stop by & photograph their power, usually former Santa Fe GP20’s, but I have yet to see them working. I’m glad I’m at least able to photograph their power, even though I haven’t seen them working yet.
A while ago Victor from EclipseGRAFX had approached me regarding photography of their items. Only just recently with me taking my photography more seriously did I decide to go through with it. I'd like to think of it as an entry into legit photography business.
This is one of the first scenes I had in mind. Unfortunately it didn't turn out quite as nice as I was hoping it would.
I was thinking of adding some irl sparking effects in the background, but I was worried I'd went up burning the scene or figure itself. I was also going to use more of that atmosphere aerosol to act as smoke, but given how small the scene is it was hard to get it to linger. There is also a lot more detail in this scene, but it ended up being mostly hidden.
I have another scene planned soon, hopefully that will turn out better.
With another season of Royal Scotsman duties over , 66743 is to be found doing other work . Seen passing through Primrose Hill with a strike adjusted 4Z74 Peterborough - Masbrough intermodal.

Kathputli Colony is about 1 km from Shadipur Metro staion towards Kirti Nagar.It is home to hundreds of traditional artistes and artisans like drummers ,street magicians, puppeteers, folk singers and dancers, wood-carving artists, jugglers, bear handlers and street performers.
