Ready for Take-off!
Der "Take-off":
Whilst at Niagara Falls we went on the Journey Behind the Falls trip. You basically take an elevator down and follow a tunnel behind the falls where you can stand at two portals pretty close to the water crashing down. Then there's an opportunity to get this view from a platform close to the base.

The Dublin City Liffey Swim is one of the most famous open sea races throughout the world.
It is unique in that Dublin is the only capital country in Europe to have a swimming race through the middle of the city. The Dublin City Liffey Swim is the highlight of the open sea swimming season.
High South Carolina waterfall only 400 ft. from the parking area, with a nice overlook. The hike to the base is very steep, rocky, and difficult if you have some age or other issues. Beautiful!
my first idea for macro mondays theme 'intentional blur' but as usual i coudn't decide which one to go for....used the other photo.
This is a small bobbin from a sewing machine. It was a nightmare to get rolling in a line infront of the lens.

I promise this will be my last seagull shot for a while as I want to broaden my wings (sorry, terrible pun) so to speak and try a few new things.
That's the title for my latest vlog. Feel free to have a gander at it over here;

Happy 'Falls Friday!
A shot taken today, outing with my friend www.flickr.com/photos/gusip/. Thanks for bringing me there. Have a great day/evening all :)
It took me three trips to get this shot of the New Mosque. The first time I arrived late and missed the “blue hour.” The second time I arrived early, but the lights of the mosque were never fully illuminated. I talked to one of the waiters from a nearby restaurant and he informed me since they were doing maintenance work on the mosque the lights were only partially turned on. I came back a third time for this shot.
A view of the New Mosque (Yeni Camii) from below the Galata Bridge. Only in Istanbul would a 400-year-old mosque be called "new."

I dedicate this image to Stan Lee, the world Marvel is slow but life goes on. Fan of this universe since I'm a kid, it's a huge loss, but 95 years old, respect Mr. Stan Lee.
Chance of the calendar I just realized this image with Marie Renault, who draws these super power in her bag Marvel, a fan of this universe for what it represents from an artistic point of view especially in the Pop-Culture.
