“Waiting for the sun” is the still cool period when the light struggles to break through, this moment which stretches for a long time in the region and during which life is slow, despite nature beginning to wake up.

À la croisée du végétal et de l'organique, un minuscule être avance sans bruit, sculpté par la lumière.
Le silence devient matière.
La lenteur, une force.

At the crossroads of leaf and life, a tiny creature moves in silence, carved by the light.
Silence becomes matter.
Slowness becomes strength.
Su una semplice foglia, una piccola lumachina esplora il mondo con i suoi minuscoli sensori, leggendo tracce di luce, umidità, odori.
Non ha occhi che vedono come i nostri, né un cervello paragonabile al nostro, eppure prende decisioni: dove andare, quando fermarsi, come nutrirsi. In quel minuscolo corpo si compie, forse, una forma primordiale di coscienza — non fatta di pensieri, ma di scelte.
Forse la coscienza non è un privilegio complesso e raro, ma un’emergenza sottile e diffusa, che affiora ovunque la vita impari ad orientarsi nel mondo.
