At least 4,000 people, according to data from the Government Delegation, have gathered on Ferraz Street, where the PSOE headquarters is located, to demonstrate for the fourteenth consecutive day against the amnesty law, the Executive and the press, a night marked due to the tension between the police forces and several hooded radical protesters located on the front line of the fences. The agents of the Police Intervention Units (UIP, for its acronym in Spanish) of the National Police have begun to charge against the protesters when they began to kick and overturn the protection fences and throw glass bottles, firecrackers, flares, balls of paint, among other objects, to the agents. The protesters have dispersed towards Princesa Street and on their way through that area of Madrid they have burned some containers. The balance of the protest has left seven people detained and seven slightly injured with cuts and bruises, one of them a police officer, who have received medical attention. (Photo by Hugo Ortuño)

MADRID, ESPAÑA - NOVIEMBRE 16: Cientos de personas ataviadas con banderas de España, esteladas (símbolo del independentismo catalán) y pancartas con diferentes consignas, son vistas, hoy, jueves 16 de noviembre de 2023, mientras participan en la decimocuarta noche de protestas tras las investidura de Pedro Sánchez como presidente del Gobierno de España, en las inmediaciones del Partido Socialista Obrero Español (PSOE), en Madrid (España). Al menos unas 4.000 personas, según datos de la Delegación de Gobierno, se han congregado en la calle de Ferraz, donde se ubica la sede del PSOE, para manifestarse por decimocuarto día consecutivo contra la ley de amnistía, el Ejecutivo y la prensa, una noche marcada por la tensión entre los cuerpos policiales y varios manifestantes radicales encapuchados situados en primera línea de las vallas. Los agentes de las Unidades de Intervención Policial (UIP) de la Policía Nacional han comenzado a cargar contra los manifestantes cuando estos comenzaron a patear y volcar las vallas de protección y lanzar botellas de cristal, petardos, bengalas, bolas de pintura, entre otros objetos a los agentes. Los manifestantes se han dispersado hacia la calle Princesa y en su camino por esa zona de Madrid han quemado algunos contenedores. El saldo de la protesta ha dejado siete personas detenidas y siete heridos leves con brechas y contusiones, uno de ellos policía, que han recibido atención médica. (Foto: Hugo Ortuño)
