Emerging from a cold winter fog is a southbound Illinois Central Gulf “slingshot” piggyback train led by Gulf, Mobile and Ohio GP35 No. 637. The train is rattling over the diamonds past BN Target tower (ground level shack) that protected ICG’s former GM&O Chicago to St. Louis main line with NS’s (N&W) Peoria line and Conrail's Pekin branch in March 1984. This location is near the old Bloomington Union Depot in Bloomington, Illinois.
A saguaro branching out to form two main branches, something I don't think I've seen before. Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument in Arizona.
A tried and true Western New York & Pennsylvania "Slingshot" gets under way after a brief stop at Cambridge Springs, PA with one of it's bi-weekly round trips out to Jamestown, NY. Those were some great days on the old Erie main for sure!
I like to revisit locations where successful work has been found. In this case moving a subject to the right that in a previous image was the center of attention, creates a new look. Combined with the rays of the setting sun, the subjects silhouette know takes on a new meaning.
A intriguing tree I found that seemed to resemble slingshot perfect for a giant lurking in the bushes. It had a perfect V shape form and reminded me of when I was a kid trying to find twigs and branches in the forest I could use for a slingshot.
When we visit my daughter in Colorado, we often stay at an Airbnb. Usually, we do not meet the landlord.
On our last visit, a beast of a vehicle roared past us. It was this "Slingshot" in the picture. "Hey, that looks like Scott" (our landlord), who I recognized from the icon photo in the Airbnb form.
It's a 3-wheeled, open two-seater. So, it's not a car, not a motorcycle. I contacted Scott, we met, and he allowed me to take pictures of this amazing vehicle.

I just realized that I have never showed you the guy who's hanging out with Lili in this picture! I have had him since last May but I have only introduced him on my Instagram ^__^' So...this is Bruno! He's a full custom by talented Hyrrra ♥ This picture isn't the best one to show you his details but his hand is replaced with a hook and his other leg is a prosthesis. I had to give him a new metal leg because his foot was missing when I got him. ^__^'
How has your week been guys? I would like to hear what you've been up to! ♥

WNYP ME-1 heads west in golden hour through Corry, PA in a shot that has been done a million times before. In charge are a trio of ALCO products.
As of now, the section of track between Falconer and Saegertown is marked Out Of Service, due to lack of customers and the low traffic rates into Meadville.
Despite being only an hour from me, I never really shot the Falconer Turns as much as I should have, with still a few bucket list shots lingering on the line for me to capture. It is unfortunate to see yet another cool stretch of track out of use.
A large buck with massive antlers making him on of the largest , most handsome bucks I have ever seen and photographed.
A Slingshot is about to head across the Rock diamonds at Joliet. These trains usually rated a GM&O GP30 or GP30. Shot taken from UD tower in July of 80.
