My Daylilies bloom every June on the day of my wedding anniversary, or a day or two before! They are wonderful reminders for me to wish my sweetie a Happy Anniversary!

A cartoon edit of a recent Window Wednesday photo!

Went the whole hog on this one. It was our drinks on the café terrace at the beach today.

Graham had a rare glass of rosé while I had a "déca allongé." It's a normal cup of decaffeinated coffee but with twice the normal amount of water, with a glass of water too.

Thank you for your favourites. :O)

Not in a siding, just a sliding for Sliders Sunday.

At Sheringham station on the North Norfolk Railway, Class N2 about to chuff off on a run to Holt station.

The 76 Crew pulls ahead their metal shaving cars from Irvin Works to drill the slab yard seen behind them. To the right, a 50 Crew job sorts gondolas with a quartet of end cabs. They would later finish building their train, and shove it up the slide to head to the NS interchange at Kenny.

HAPPY SLIDERS SUNDAY !!

Last Sliders Sunday, I uploaded "Dying on the Vine"

and it proved quite popular. I took THAT photo on 16 October 2023.

www.flickr.com/photos/dan-on-flickr/53492265502/in/datepo...

Then on 18 December 2023, I took THIS photo of another vine

in a different location. Two months later, its leaves were still beautiful.

The leaves on the other vine were long gone.

With a nod to Bruce Willis and his series of "Die Hard" movies,

my caption here was a natural choice.

Instead of being espaliered, this vine had stuck itself securely

to a white stucco wall. Lovely shade makes it look gray here.

HSS work;

I cropped to 10x8 for composition. For requisite HSS drama,

I did heavy sliding via saturation, dehaze and luminance-sharpening.

Location: Inner front wall, Gottesacker (cemetery), Riehen BS Switzerland.

In my album: Dan's Leafscapes.

Created for Sliders Sunday using Deep Dreams Generator and Snapseed. HSS everyone!

Sliders Sunday - photos processed to the max!

Now this is my kinda group!

Got some shots in a 80’s vintage clothing shop in Holmfirth yesterday, these boots were begging to be snapped.

If you like anything on my photos, I'm very pleased... just share your kindness, I'm grateful in advance for your views, likes and comments... a lot of thanks :)

Did this ages ago and just did an upload. No decent photos to do something new at the moment.

Fall happens in very slow motion in the Sandhills. Top to bottom, the images in this panel were made on September 22, October 9 and October 25. A few leaves have fallen during those intervals, but as you can see, most have remained. Sliders were used to help define the shape and colors. HSS

Near the Cap Kurile, Lošinj. Spring time on a "wild beach" is very nice. The vegetation just above the coast line looks like exploded.

Children's playground.

My first experience with a GoPro camera! It seemed alright for doing a quick video for the family, but it seemed a total Rube Goldberg to choose a photo from video.

The back story here is one of a socially distanced family gathering at the family farm. These two kids had not seen or played with another kid for weeks. Suddenly, there was someone else to race around with.

Once I'm out of this rural setting, you can find me on Twitter

Happy Sliders Sunday!

A classic on parade.

My beautiful gull.

It's the top of a rather unattractive fountain (that hardly ever seems to be working) in the town centre. : flic.kr/p/p7i84R

Original phone photo with a bit of digital fiddling in ON1 and Topaz Studio

Another very old Kodachrome slide from 1974. I shot this with my then "new" camera at the Lake Afton Grand Prix. The Lake Afton road course hosted Sports Car Club of America races for many years. Lake Afton is about 25 miles west of Wichita.

Year: 1974

Film: Kodachrome 25

Camera: Nikon Nikkormat EL

Lens: Nikkor 105mm 2.5

Quick, grab your camera & let's go & we did!

I've been a bit lax with the Slider Sunday photos recently so time to get back into the swing of things
