One of my anniversary presents from Laura : - a custom made Moleskine and slide rule holder. Pretty cool, huh?

This is a 360x160 degree Mercator projection of a full spherical panorama which can be seen here:

I came home tonight, tired after a hard day at work and happy to meet my wife and my 2 years old son.

Here is his hearty welcome: a box of slides scattered across the bedroom.

Well, at least this is a good material for a Utata's project.

Found Boots Colorslide, undated but with a 1970s feel. Could be titled "Middle-Aged Woman Enjoying a Glass of Sherry at a Christmas Party"

Of the 850+ found slides I have posted (so far), this is the most viewed.

I think this was taken at the San Diego Zoo.

Actually makes sense: In the former post distribution centre there are slides that have served as gigantic mail-slides. So, seeing them now, you think to yourself: I want to slide down!

Here we go: In the u19 – CREATE YOUR WORLD area you can glide down a slide!

Looking Glass Creek - Pisgah National Forest. This is a fee area from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend when the forest service has lifeguards on duty, $1 per person. On a hot summer day this place is packed with people either lined up to slide down the rock or hanging out on the decks watching.

Yet another image from the snowy morning in Sedona. This is a view up the creek, a natural sandstone slide often swarmed by bathers during the summer. Though I had the entire place to myself this lovely morning, I chose to abstain from swimming.

Bought this slide rule when I was attending University towards an Engineering degree in the late 1960's. By the time I graduated in 1971, these instruments were virtually obsolete having been replaced mainly by electronic calculators. I've never used this or any other slide rule in my subsequent working career.

A personal slide collection is used as this lamp’s shade, providing an ever-dynamic source of color and light variation. Each slide captures its own record of life and memory. The slides can be swapped out with others over time. This helps to link the ephemeral qualities of life to the lamp, breathing life into an otherwise inanimate object.

Slide coping with a Lumix FZ1000 @ ISO125, F4 in Macro Zoom mode and a light box. Using the lens hood as a stand offers an ideal focal length for slides. The results are very acceptable and it is fast and cheap.
