These slides passed to me out of the estate of Irma L. Carter who married John Rudd. We begin with her European travels and end with...? There are thousands of slides in the collection. Some will be John's, most Irma's. She died in 2014.

It was a stunning clear night out tonight so I couldn't resist trying to get my first shot of the Orion Nebula. I'm really pleased the way it turned out. 30 second exposure @ ISO 800 taken with a Canon 40D attached with a T ring to a Skywatcher Explorer 150 on an EQ5 mount
Processed in LR4 with a fair amount of sliding !! Happy Sliders Sunday

The big kid section of the playground had much bigger slides. The spiral slides were pretty good. This straight slide was a bit too fast for a dad and son.
Found Kodachrome slide dated November 1968. From the number of Fiat cars around, I think this might be Italy somewhere.
