having come very close recently to selling the Leica to fund a new purchase, I felt myself having one of those 'sliding doors moments'......where my photographic future might split into a different direction, this camera which I had coveted for so long and feel very privileged just to hold, came so close to being consigned to just a lovely memory.......as I said recently, I need to really appreciate it's pixels......stand clear, these doors are closing.
As I'm sure you'll know if you or any of your Flickr friends live in London, these are the slides that have been put into the Turbine Hall of the Tate Modern Gallery.
Sadly I haven't had a chance to go down them yet (I was on my own with a big rucksack when taking these photos) but it looks great fun. Some of them look really fast!

The Sliding Rock is located next to US-276 and this 40 ft falls attracts a lot of tourists. See the people lined up waiting to slide down. Looks like it's really fun!

Looking west from the back of the Marjo Apartments on Lewers Street just makai of Kuhio Avenue, towards Kaiolu Street in Waikiki. The south of Kuhio section of Kaiolu Street is now the site of the Ritz-Carlton Residences condominium hotel. Vintage red-bordered cardboard mount “Kodachrome Transparency” slide produced between 1950 and 1955. Other slides in the group date the year at 1955.
