The rocky outcrops of the Canadian Shield on the shores of George Lake gently slide into the water as the sun sets. Killarney Provincial Park. As I sat here on my perch watching the lake at sunset I marvelled at the thought of the powers that shaped this landscape. This week was the 4th of July! We closed the first week with a great barbecue on Friday! All the kids came dressed in their red, white, and blue! Camp was not in session on Monday in observance of the holiday but we made up for not being there!
The second week of camp was filled with some of the best summer activities kids dream about! The campers at Willow Grove Day Camp participated in activities such as: rock climbing, baseball, paddle boat riding, swimming, so much more!Some of our campers when on trips! The Senior boys when to a Camden Riversharks game and the Senior girls went bowling!
