The Easter Bunny visited our house last night, and it didn't quite go as planned.
I'm also amazed how much abuse Bruno takes from his little big sister.
Truth be told this is the stuffed toy bunny that Eva had in her week 16 Easter shot last year (linked in comments). It has been safely living in isolation waiting for this year's Easter photo. And by the time the photo was done Flopsy had lost a leg, a squeaker and a considerable amount of fluff.
On a technical note I am quite impressed with the D750 combined with the 85 f1.8 lens. Life was busy this weekend, so this was shot on the deck about 15 or 20 minutes after the sun had set. Action after sunset - a whole new world for me.

This was a party In celebration of Daddy-O Daylie's 10th year as one of the biggest disc jockeys on Chicago radio. Other acts on the bill that night were Pearl Bailey (who played earlier that night at the Tivoli Theater down the street), Phineas Newborn, Earl Coleman, Dorothy Donegan, Ramsey Lewis, Ernestine Anderson and Slappy White. There was a ten-foot cake for the crowd. Miles Davis, who was performing at the Sutherland Lounge that night, stopped by. The show was on a Monday; it started at 9PM and ended at 3AM.
The prevous day at the Regal, Chicago's other big disc jockey Al Benson hosted a show featuring Jackie Wilson, Eugene Church, Etta James, Sil Austin, The Eldorados and Lorez Alexandria.
