Về kết cấu, đây là dạng hộp cứng nắp âm dương (Lift-off lid box). Phần cốt hộp được làm từ carton lạnh dày dạn, tạo khung xương vững chắc, chịu được trọng lượng của hũ kem thủy tinh hoặc nhựa acrylic bên trong. Các cạnh hộp được phay sắc nét, vuông vức (sharp edges), không bị tù hay móp méo, thể hiện sự chỉn chu trong khâu gia công.
Bề mặt bên ngoài của hộp được bồi giấy Couche in màu pastel nhẹ nhàng (như hồng phấn, trắng ngọc trai hoặc xanh mint), gợi cảm giác dịu nhẹ, an toàn cho làn da. Lớp màng mờ (Matte lamination) phủ bên ngoài không chỉ giúp hộp chống thấm nước, hạn chế bám vân tay mà còn tạo cảm giác mịn màng, sang trọng khi chạm vào.
