I've always been one of those students who prefers to sit at the back and draw. Have I known that one day the table will turn, I admit, I should have shown my "teachers" more respect.

However, I really was listening...I really am...it's just that some students learn effectively in different ways. But, then again, that is not an acceptable excuse in a classroom environment ;)

This was drawn in one of the seminars I've been attending for CPD points 😅

I remember walking around #Intramuros whenever I had a "free time" during the 4 years I lived there.

There were only a few of those "times" back then when one day, somehow, this #building in front of the #FortSantiago ticket booth caught my interest. Not only because I didn't have enough money left to pay for a ticket to get inside the actual Fort Santiago but, partly, because I found the red color of the shades combined with the cream color of the building quite artistic :)

I've been dreaming a lot of this image lately as I used to wake up so early in the morning to the sound of this #SewingMachine. I open our master's room door and I see my mother mending our clothings, making new curtains etc.

"I can't sleep (she says)...I might as well do something."

My plan is to learn to operate it someday and probably make something creative. For now, it'll stay in my late mother's room until further notice...

This is the gum wall mentioned there. The name says it all literally - it's a wall saturated with gum.

This was the girl who stood beside me and seemed so excited to pose in front of that wall - I did not :D

This image of my late uncle sitting by the graveyard as he tells us stories of the past kept on haunting me for the past few days. He died 2 weeks ago...11 months after my mother. I felt the urge to draw him as fast as I can in between naps and bus stops.

He is probably the only person who dared to tell me that one awful truth about life which not everyone are comfortable discussing - death.

I never really understood that until my mother died...not really.
