Purrpurrrpurr... I just love it with all my happy heart, with all my curious nose, with my whole long-long hedonistic self from the tips of my whiskers to the end of my cutest tail:) An exquisitely delicious shot at the perfect cup! What a mouthwatering flavor! Actually, it is my great grandma who taught me to fancy this, ahem, not-really-typical-for-cats but so delicious creation of taste. Yeah, she would treat me to the very best green coffee still when I was a fluffy kitten. For quite a long time she used to live at a coffee roasting company owner’s place and her sophisticated nose, no fret, could tell whether coffee was wet processed or whether it was a “Natural”, full city roast with hints of chocolate and smokiness, bittersweet French roast, coal black Italian or Espresso wonders. ...."Harold the Highlander"
Many years ago before I retired; I use to sketch out these short cartoons of my friend Harold on the back of parts labels. He was into his Scottish heritage; adorned in all the clothing and weapons of that period in history and attended the Scottish festivals in this state.
He told me years later, he took all the comics home and his wife saved every one of them into a photo album. Haha. Have a good Christmas everyone.
Saint Francis of Assisi (Italian: San Francesco d'Assisi), born Giovanni di Pietro di Bernardone, informally named as Francesco (1181/1182 – 3 October 1226),[2][5] was an Italian Roman Catholic friar, deacon and preacher. He founded the men's Order of Friars Minor, the women’s Order of Saint Clare, the Third Order of Saint Francis and the Custody of the Holy Land.[2] Francis is one of the most venerated religious figures in history.[2]
Pope Gregory IX canonized Francis on 16 July 1228. Along with Saint Catherine of Siena, he was designated Patron saint of Italy. He later became associated with patronage of animals and the natural environment, and it became customary for Catholic and Anglican churches to hold ceremonies blessing animals on his feast day of 4 October.[6]
In 1219, he went to Egypt in an attempt to convert the Sultan to put an end to the conflict of the Crusades.[7] By this point, the Franciscan Order had grown to such an extent that its primitive organizational structure was no longer sufficient. He returned to Italy to organize the Order. Once his community was authorized by the Pope, he withdrew increasingly from external affairs. Francis is also known for his love of the Eucharist.[8] In 1223, Francis arranged for the first Christmas live nativity scene.[9][10][11] According to Christian tradition, in 1224 he received the stigmata during the apparition of Seraphic angels in a religious ecstasy [9] making him the first recorded person in Christian history to bear the wounds of Christ's Passion.[12] He died during the evening hours of 3 October 1226, while listening to a reading he had requested of Psalm 142 (141).
The Style that I used is realist portrait
The materials that were used to draw it are
Pencil , paper and the right feeling were the things needed to complete this drawing.
I used three types of pencils : H2 , HB , B5 all of them are noticeable in the different shadings.
The Paper that I used is light / rough white paper it really helped giving all the effects needed.
The size of the drawing is : - Length : 16,7 Inches (42,5 Cm ) - ; - Width 12 Inches (30,5 Cm )
The drawing was plasticized , I was afraid that time and contact with air would ruin it.
If requested this drawing can be acquired without any plastification.

My Pencil Vs Camera concept combines photography and drawing. The inclusion of a drawing on part of the photo opens the doors to an imaginary and poetic world.
I launched this concept in April 2010. All of the creations required almost 5000 hours of work spread over 10 years. These artworks have been exhibited and published widely around the world.
This concept is now taught in many schools with which I actively collaborate. Teachers have adopted it to teach their students to stimulate their creativity and encourage them to use new technologies. Other artists have also copied this technique since its invention.
I also entirely composed the 2 piano works used in this video.

Sketches for proposed new ceramic project. This project was rejected because of the narrowness of the ballerina's torso. It will bend in the high kiln temperatures. I will have to carve it from stone or plaster. Maquette for a possible entrant to a contest for a sculpture in the plaza of a performing arts center.
