Listen to them, the children of the night. What music they make. Drawn from Scratch

So many things made this an appealing subject. 1.) Ketchup in wee paper cups is just plain great, 2.) I have nostalgia of trips to Wendy's as a kid, and, 3.) shiny ketchup reflections are definitely nothing I've painted before.

Watch out for those pesky internet worms...

Pop Art style Graphical Portrait, selfie, created by DGFX from scratch. Drawn using portrait images as reference, taken earlier this year using Nikon D7100

Multi colour graphic. It takes two photo editing programs and about 2 hours to do, i multi layer and multi expose the image and redraw it adding colour, swapping out the canvas a few times, just working with blocks of colour.

I am so good, I will make you see the beauty in maggots!! Muwhahahahahaaaa!! ;p

For today's sketch I sat out in the orchard and drew the apples on the Golden Delicious apple tree. They are still green. I wanted to try my Pilot Hi-Tec C green ink which is watersoluble.

You got seven seconds before I spray ya eyeball with Lysol.

I spent a few hours today working with the Jot Pro Stylus and the ipad. I wanted to sketch a portrait but i'm still getting the hang of working with the brushes so i figured work on some shading too. For this sketch I mostly used the ink pens, shading and the round brushes in Procreate and just adjusted the color shading as needed.

And finally, he remembered the parachute.

Prints are available at the brand new InvisibleElement Store

The prints are beautiful and I am so happy to actually have them in my hands. The colors are true to the originals and the detail is pretty amazing.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at the store! More IE Sketch-A-Day stuff to come.

Just a texture and pattern study. Wood grain is always interesting.

Artwork with added Doomsday Logo

Martin posing for his senior picture...he insisted on wearing that sweater.

This is a bit of a view of some of the drawing work i have done in the past, you can see in the top view how they are created in a binary line format, the master file extension is DWG (and i can also export in DXF format which a machine tool can understand). But, I export the lines as PNG format at approx 7000 pixels, then import into Photoshop to render as a JPG. The final results that come out after a bit of messing is the lower view.

Oh joy! Here at work, the gift shop has retro candy for me to draw/paint!

A little practice painting a foil wrapper. Modest improvement.

Hold on! I'm trying to nail this solo before I go to work.
