Up a tree!! This dragonfly was pretty big and was dive bombing me in the garden it wouldn't stop anywhere for me to get a good shot at it except up this tree, so with my head stuck in branches and leaves I managed to get this shot of it, although it was in a difficult position to photograph. The things we do eh ;) View LARGE On Black

Thanks to everyone who took the time to view, comment, and fave my photo. It’s really appreciated. 😊
It does look better
In this context superb is a noun rather than an adjective. Superb starlings are common birds in Kenya you can see them easily saying that they are quite nervous so it took a few attempts to make a reasonable shot. Apart from a crop this is completely SOOC, these birds don’t need enhancement. Have to say while it is their name the adjective superb seems perfectly appropriate . the shot is cropped but otherwise unedited
THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT HAVE A GREAT DAY

Did sliders for the kids.
Well, they´re actually smaller than sliders.
The pickled cucumbers under the top reveals the size of it.
Looking at the skies last evening, I had a hunch we'd have a nice sunset for a change. It was indeed quite spectacular but there was no foreground to make it interesting enough for a photo. Instead, I focused on this young fisherman, standing all by himself in the water, and in the midst of all that wonderful reflected color. He'd already caught a good sized rainbow trout and will be eating well tonight.
I was driving out of Kananaskis country (lots of trees) when I noticed that cloud. As I left the forest, and entered the rolling hills, that cloud grew bigger and bigger. I snapped a few pictures and then embraced myself as I drove back home, hidden somewhere in that mess. Needless to say, this was amazing to witness and an honour to capture.
I've learned that it doesn't matter how big your house is, apparently, it is not big enough. ^_^
Thank you everyone for the appreciation, time and comments!!
Side note: Ignore the grass and it's a house on the ocean.
...that makes us proud to be a small part of it.

Cityview Plaza. Downtown San Jose, April 2017. It's such a simple shot, but it took a while for it to come together. I stood in the middle of an empty square, trying not to look like a weirdo, while I waited for the right sized plane with the right flight path to come through. Shot with Fujifilm XPro2 and 18-55mm f2.8-4 lens in Acros.

I’m not sure which wild critters the food in this hanging wooden feeder was intended for. But there was no doubt who had dibs when I came upon the scene on Wednesday at a local historical site; Mr. Racoon was leisurely having his fill, while Mr. Squirrel was forced to wait his turn.

Actually these critters were oblivious to the cold and me. And, of course, I was the only nut in the park, besides the contents of the squirrel pantries. It was cold!
