I just finally got around to seeing the final (or middle) Star Wars film "Revenge of the Sith." And quite honestly I have to say that it was probably the worst film that i've seen in at least the last two years. I'm mean, basically it was fine if you don't care anything for plot/writing/script, pacing, editing, dialogue, acting and directing. Even though the special effects were state of the art I coulnd't help but feel that the lack of any other form of substance to the film made the whole experience like watching a really boring video game. I think Lucas is a really awful filmmaker and he proved it in a very public way with this series of final SW films. In some respects, I think he makes Ed Wood look like a friggin' genius!!

Anyhoo, speaking of the final SW film, I found this hilarious blog post featuring a pirated copy of the movie from China which features some of the most hilarious subtitles ever: www.dynamicdiscord.com/BrianStuff/Episode_3/episode-iii-b...

Strangely enough, I think these pirated copies with the hilarious captions have inadvertently discovered a way to make this film watchable and even fun, which the original is not!

It all ends here. I might make this into a stop motion....maybe...

A really, really cool Twi'lek sith. I'm not sure if she's trying to be anyone specific.

Both of these villans date back to what I called the Chaos wars. On the Right was it's former leader Valdmora the most powerful telekinetic ever. On the left is Darth Yamuka. (For more on the Chaos Wars click the following link)

The Red Eye Fortress was my first attempt at a evil castle. I had always wanted to build one on this particular base but didn't obtain one till I started living on my own. I made this a few years ago from scratch, and recently updated it. It was built specifically as a place for me to put my lego villans, since they were not welcome in Purity city. These outcasts are now known as the Red Eye Pirates.

The top jail cell/tower and satalite dish are modular and the top center floor opens to reveal a command center inside. Originally I had imagined most of the Red Eye Pirates as Sith, which is why alot of Starwars Characters are here as well. Most of the other villans I've had since I was a kid.

Darth Vader goes for a stroll on my windowsill. Shot at f/2.8 with a 35mm prime lens - you can see the narrow line of focus in the wood at his feet.

Handheld; it took about 20 shots to get the lighting correct on his face! (It's all tones of black.)

This phrase is inspired by The Simpsons episode 15 of season 5 called "Deep Space Homer" when in space Homer breaks an experimental ant farm. One of the Ants passes in front of the camera in a very large close up frightening Kent Brockman. As a result he says: And I for one welcome our new insect overlords!"
