A camera toss series. I hadn't done any of these in a long time and thought it good to revisit the bare essentials considering it was a camera I had not used for the technique yet. A single white LED provides the light source, exposures vary from .7sec to 2sec. What is produced is essentially an inverted physiogram (inverted in that it illustrates camera motion rather than subject motion) and can tell you alot about the movement possible with a given model of camera.
I also had been meaning to do this simplistic series for a while, because I feel achieving something aesthetically wonderful does not require an overly complicate light source, the beauty is ultimately due to the motion.
All images in this series are directly from my Kodak Easyshare 3.1mp camera, no hotoshop, no cropping or manipulation other than image rotation.

`If you knew Time as well as I do,' said the Hatter, `you wouldn't talk about wasting IT. It's HIM.'
`I don't know what you mean,' said Alice.
`Of course you don't!' the Hatter said, tossing his head contemptuously. `I dare say you never even spoke to Time!'
`Perhaps not,' Alice cautiously replied: `but I know I have to beat time when I learn music.'
`Ah! that accounts for it,' said the Hatter. `He won't stand beating. Now, if you only kept on good terms with him, he'd do almost anything you liked with the clock. For instance, suppose it were nine o'clock in the morning, just time to begin lessons: you'd only have to whisper a hint to Time, and round goes the clock in a twinkling! Half-past one, time for dinner!'
(`I only wish it was,' the March Hare said to itself in a whisper.)
`That would be grand, certainly,' said Alice thoughtfully: `but then--I shouldn't be hungry for it, you know.'
`Not at first, perhaps,' said the Hatter: `but you could keep it to half-past one as long as you liked.'
`Is that the way YOU manage?' Alice asked.
The Hatter shook his head mournfully. `Not I!' he replied. `We quarrelled last March--just before HE went mad, you know--' (pointing with his tea spoon at the March Hare,) `--it was at the great concert given by the Queen of Hearts, and I had to sing
"Twinkle, twinkle, little bat!
How I wonder what you're at!"
You know the song, perhaps?'
`I've heard something like it,' said Alice.
`It goes on, you know,' the Hatter continued, `in this way:--
"Up above the world you fly,
Like a tea-tray in the sky.
Twinkle, twinkle--"'
Here the Dormouse shook itself, and began singing in its sleep `Twinkle, twinkle, twinkle, twinkle--' and went on so long that they had to pinch it to make it stop.
`Well, I'd hardly finished the first verse,' said the Hatter, `when the Queen jumped up and bawled out, "He's murdering the time! Off with his head!"'
`How dreadfully savage!' exclaimed Alice.
`And ever since that,' the Hatter went on in a mournful tone, `he won't do a thing I ask! It's always six o'clock now.'

Robledal Munain Okariz 'árboles singulares'
Elegimos un itinerario entre los distintos parajes del Territorio Histórico de Álava, esta vez en Salvatierra, hacia la sierra de Entzia, a través del robledal centenario de Munain y Okariz. Entorno de enorme valor ecológico y cultural por sus más de 500 árboles singulares, definidos como tal en base a su tamaño (más de 100 cm de diámetro para Quercus), a su porte, belleza, ubicación y a cualquier otra característica que los haga destacar. Entre ellos, trasmochos y centenarios, la mayoría son Quercus robur, Quercus faginea e híbridos. El resto son Fagus sylvatica y Acer campestre.
El Bosque Centenario de Munain y Okariz posee una alta densidad de caminos existentes, si bien nuestro paseo se apoyará sobre el trazado de la Senda de los Árboles Centenarios y la Senda de las Fuentes del Zadorra, ambas consideradas PR. Será un recorrido circular por un sendero, con una ligera subida al principio entre parcelas y praderas con jóvenes robles antes de acceder a la entrada del bosque. Allí comenzamos a encontrar numerosos ejemplares de trasmochos como testigos y vínculos de nuestra cultura y como fuentes de alta biodiversidad. Hablaremos de este paisaje, de su valor y su gestión antaño.
A partir de una bifurcación continuaremos por la senda que nos lleva hasta el nacedero del río Zadorra, manantial que surge a partir de una formación kárstica, en la pared de Peña Roja. Próximo al pueblo de Opakua.
Finally got around to loading the singular for overnighting, had a few day rides on it but as this was what I got it for I decided to give it an outing to Culra Bothy, under Ben Alder.

The Rocker project was born in 2003 from an idea had by Edo Arlenghi, singer, composer and leader of the band. The Rocker purposely written in the singular, represents the musical soul of his singer.
The original line up that recorded ITALIAN BASTARDS was :
EDO on vocals , WALTER CALIARO on guitar, FORTU SACCA’ on bass and CESCO JOVINO on drums, already well known as drummer of the German heavy metal band U.D.O.
The Band has opened the festival Gods of Metal in june 2009 at the Brianteo’ s stadium in the city of Monza. The top of the bill at that time was Motley Crue and Heaven and Hell. The Rocker opened also for Y&T and Europe. The first work of The Rocker, ITALIAN BASTARDS, has been selling 2000 copies in the Italian soil and it has received acclaim also all’ abroad.
The new work is titled BLOOD STRENGTH & SOUL.
The cd has been recorded in LOS ANGELES at the COMMAND studios.
It has been recorded and mixed by Mr. FABRIZIO GROSSI, a well known producer that works and has been working with musicians such as: SLASH,STEVE VAI,GLENN HUGHES,DAVE NAVARRO,CHAD SMITH,STEVE LUKATHER,BILLY GIBBONS etc…
The mastering has been entrusted to Mr. PETE DOELL at UNIVERSAL in Los Angeles.
The entire work is powerfull,solid and It sounds brilliant…
The new cd it approaches the sounds of early GUNS AND ROSES,AC/DC and THE CULT.
On drums we have nothing less than the ex drummer of AC/DC and DIO, Mr.SIMON WRIGHT.
On bass guitar Mr.FABRIZIO GROSSI himself.
On Guitars a new talented guy,SERJO ASCHIERIS.
On vocals EDO ARLENGHI.
This is a perfect commitment to give you a grate cd of Rock n’Roll!!! BLOOD STRENGTH & SOUL.

Ray Kurzweil spoke "at" PSU today, via web conference. I snapped a picture of him setting up, because I thought the whole thing looked like Ridley Scott's 1984-themed Apple advertisement.
