"November comes and November goes;
with the last red berries and first white snows;
with night coming early and dawn coming late,
and ice in the bucket and frost at the gate.
The fires burn, and the kettles sing,
all earth sinks to rest until next spring."
-Clyde Watson-
This knockout QUITE stopped me in my tracks at this show, after a day of seeing some absolutely beautiful cars. But this girl is something special. As you can imagine, she was surrounded, but I did my best. A few kind folks did see me trying to get pictures and waited, and I always appreciate that!
FYI: There is a '66 Buick nailhead under the hood.
It's quite a warm day, which is very rare during this time of the year. Days are getting longer and evenings brighter, thus in return all trains of Fenniarail have much easier departures from Kurkimäki, like in the case of the Dr18 number 106 which is clearly showing sing of accelation as it has just got its own train in motion.
Taken yesterday, here in Yukigaya. They have this Summer festival where kids and old people alike dances to the beat of the Japanese bells and drums.

01. My name is Randy Alboria Yu, 31 years old, married to Tata 3 years ago and we have no kids yet.
02. My father is half-Chinese and my mother has a Spanish blood. Ironically, I don't speak both languages but I can speak a total of 4 other languages. Filipino, English, Japanese and our own dialect which is Cebuano (Bisaya).
03. I hailed from a small town in Northern Mindanao called Nasipit but left it when I was 16 to study in UP Diliman. There, I became a member of a Fraternity, Melo and attyubag are some of my brods.
04. My mother worked in Tokyo for more than 20 years and I followed her here in 2001. I am presently working in Gabon Embassy as an Assistant of the Ambassador but I have worked as Embassy driver; a Club waiter, a bartender and a manager; a construction worker (painter); a Club DJ and a host (hosto). :P I also worked as an NGO's Operations Manager, one that facilitates the first Filipino caregivers here in Japan.
05. I paint with watercolor until I was 25, and I will try to paint again.
06. In sports, I play Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball, Baseball, Football, Badminton and Table-tennis, and with it I considered myself athletic. :P I also play Airsoft.
07. I love to sing and I love to dance. Sometimes I annoy/amaze my wife with moves only my mother would appreciate.. :P
08. I am a joker by nature, my jokes depend on my mood. Sometimes I crack a joke that will send all people around me laughing but sometimes.. I'm the only one who laughs at it.
09. I am a Mitsubishi lover, my first car was a Mitsubishi Pajero and I currently drive a Mitsubishi GTO.
10. My brain's range is varying, it can be that of a 10-year old, playing video games all day with not a care in the world or that of a 50-year old talking business or attending meetings and making points that my boss is suppose to do but he just can't because of a super hectic schedule.

“Singing is such an excellent thing, that I wish all people would sing” ~ Richard Byrd
How appropriate that Mr Byrd would write such a quote.
What would you think if I sang out of tune
Would you stand up and walk out on me?
Lend me your ears and I'll sing you a song
And I'll try not to sing out of key
Oh I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm gonna try with a little help from my friends

We sing a spring
(Sing joy spring)
A rare and most mysterious spring
(This most occult thing)
Is buried deep in the soul
(It's story never has been told)
The joy spring, the fountain of pleasure
Is deep inside you whether you're diggin it or not
Once you're aware of this spring
You'll know that it's the greatest
Treasure you've got
And furthermore
The joy spring, the bounteous treasure
Cannot be bartered away and never
Can be sold
Nothing can take it from you
It's yours and yours alone to have
And to hold
And something more
It never is lost to fire or theft
It's always around
When trouble is gone the pleasure is left
I've always found
It's burglar-proof same as the treasure
Man lays up in heaven worth a
Price no one can measure
That says a lot
So joy spring this fountain of pleasure
That's deep inside you let me inform
You in all truth
Ponce de Leon sought this
When he was searchin for the fountain of youth
Ol' Ponce de Leon laughed so much he
Never did find the magic fountain
But many people with a well-adjusted
Spirit they could hear it when you told
Them it was there tellin them was
Like tellin it on the mountain
It's quite a life havin the gift of laughter
I'm a man who knows in a minute
I can tell you just exactly how the story goes
It involves a firm conviction in another
Previous life givin your mind a chance to fly
Fly around the universe investigatin other
Galaxies & certain other subtle
Types of life tryin to dig it gettin
Pretty well-acquainted with a lot of
Other strife & pretty much acquirin
Yourself plenty of education
Pretty soon here comes earth birth
& then you're ready to put it all to work
But soon as you're finished bein born
You start forgettin what you knew
Cause you're another kinda you
A reincarnation manifestation
Of spirit in sensation
You really got that right
The average person isn't bright
Not so bright that they recall the fatal fall
Down here t'o this earth
Their minds disguise their death to spirit
Life and call it birth
That's their reason for forgettin and they
Find it very upsettin when reminded
Tell them they've lived before
They'll show you the nearest open door
Gotta have feelin while dealin with
Walkers in their sleep
They can't imagine somethin as deep
Here they come - here they come - there they are
Unimaginative and ignorant of fallin from a star
Here they come - there they are - there they go
Life is over in a minute & they never dug
It in it or enjoy a minute of it
Cause they put too much above it
That was gross
Somethin that was worth a couple bucks
At most
So there is the reason that the maker of man
Included there in his plan
A certain fountain deep within
Where there was laughter, youth & gold
For human beings to have & hold
& share the memory of where we've all been
Brothers called Grimm knew chances were slim
Anybody would dig that the human soul was Snow White
And the Seven Dwarfs were seven tempers in man
Whose diggin out the gold completes the plan
& Bacon was hip that Shakespeare couldn't read
And so he gave him all the rhymes
That have lasted through the years
And kept eternal truths alive through several centuries
That's how we know them now
They lasted cause they're true
What was it from Macbeth?
"Life's but a walking shadow
a player poor
that struts and frets upon the stage
and's seen no more
a tale that truly has an idiotic ring
that's full of lotsa sound and fury
signifying nothing..."
That's right signifying nothing
I'll repeat it, nothing!
Don't forget it, nothing!
And that's the reason for that spring
Of joy
Showtime, everyone's on
Let's hit the stage
It's showtime everyone
& proceed to act your age
Whatever you're frownin at is funny
Enough laughin
So you're wastin all your humor on a frown
While you're bringin your spirit down
You gotta book yourself a comic in your act
Without some laughter life's a maudlin
Farce & that's a fact
Once you know about the spring
You always can smile
It becomes your one expression
And you're always wearin' it
Like the buddhas do
(um, and i think there's more ... !)
A House Wren, a rather plain looking bird but a wonderful little singer. He was so caught up in his singing, in fact, that I was able to get remarkably close.
Red Wing Blackbird, singing his heart out on a glorious morning at the No-See-Um Swamp.

Baton Rouge. Oct 2021
The sculpture, named Sing The River, on the Mississippi River levee in downtown Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is connected to sensors in the river and plays music that corresponds with the rise and fall of the water.
put away the beeps, the vibrates, the rings
just wade into the tide and hear the earth sing
enjoy the day, my peeps !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The shore-lark soars to his topmost flight,
Sings at the height where morning springs,
What though his voice be lost in the light,
The light comes dropping from his wings.
Mount, my soul, and sing at the height
Of thy clear flight in the light and the air,
Heard or unheard in the night in the light
Sing there! Sing there!

Hark the Herald Angels Sing
Glory to the new born King
Peace on Earth and mercy mild
God and sinner reconciled.
Joyful all Ye Angels Sing...
Singing is the art of creating music with the voice. It is the oldest form of musical expression, and the human voice can be considered the first musical instrument.
Our small Christmas tree has arrived and Linus thinks this event calls for a Christmas carol. Be grateful that you can't hear him, he is a terrible singer with a preference for the high notes and he knows no mercy. I wonder if they sell earplugs in jumbo packs .....
It was so exciting to see this little guy whilst visiting Maun.. Thanks to Pete Hancock for taking me out on a wonderful afternoon drive..
This finely crafted 1930 Stutz Model M Speedster two-passenger speedster with body by LeBaron is one of only two currently known to exist. It is a truly one-off automobile, as every Stutz Model M built was unique.
It is a short wheelbase model with the optional 'HC' high compression engine, which features a worm gear differential. As with other Stutz models, it features 4-wheel hydraulic brakes with variable assist and a 4-speed transmission. An additional features is the beautiful engine turned instrument panel, a unique and unusual special order, along with the bold two-tone black and yellow leather interior with arm rest, which truly compliments the as original bright yellow exterior finish featuring deep red wheels.
This history of this car, a M 2-Passenger Speedster, has been documented to 1949 when owner Joseph McNutt ran the car on the Granville Rally and the Glidden Tour. Next, it was owned by noted collector Ben Johnson, who confirmed that the paint and upholstery remained in original colors. During its life, it spent some time in the Crawford Museum. It spent several decades in the Wisconsin Auto Museum, and in 1963, it was shown in an Indianapolis newspaper where the owners had driven the car to over 100 miles per hour at an event held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

It should be noted that the picture of the car was recorded at the 2019 Milwaukee Concours d’Elegance, however, it was transported from Wisconsin to Michigan by yours truly…………….regrettably not physically but figuratively (or more correctly, “digitally”). When it is not possible to take distractions (people, signs, etc) out of the original scene, one needs to take the car away from the distractions. In this instance, the car has been placed into the scenic grounds of the Gilmore Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan. However, this car has “physically” appeared at the Gilmore Museum on at least one, if not more occasions - as indicated here: flic.kr/p/24jAvCA
