Last week I had an awesome time photographing local singer/songwriter and soon-to-be-Berklee-School-of-Music-grad Liz Longley. She's a mixture of Patty Griffin, Sara Bareilles, with a touch of Jewel, Allison Krauss and a dash of Sarah Mclachlan.
While we were shooting, she was doing some rehersals for her sold out performance at Studio 99 here in Nashua, and she blew me away with her voice.
We're going to hopefully be working together a bit before she heads on to Nashville this fall, and we've already got a location shoot booked once the weather gets warmer.
I had an absolutely awesome time photographing her, and then being able to listen to her concert at Studio 99. I'm also looking forward to a great professional relationship with her in the future.

Lesung, Performance und Konzert
Südafrikanische Gedichte werden zu deutschen Rap-Lyrics und deutsche Spoken Word-Verse fließen in südafrikanische Poesie und Hip Hop. In Workshops haben die Künstler_innen aus beiden Städten ihre Werke gemeinsam entwickelt.
1 Woche, 4 Veranstaltungen und 9 Künstler_innen bieten Einblicke in die Poesie-, Spoken Word- und Musikszenen von Johannesburg und Berlin und lassen neue Kreationen südafrikanischer und deutscher Wortakrobat_innen erleben.

Peter Doran (Vocals, Piano and Guitar) is a multi-instrumentalist indie folk singer and songwriter based in Dublin Ireland. His songs and sound have been warmly compared to artists such as Nick Drake, Damien Rice and Paul Simon.
In 2006 Peter released his debut album "Wood”. This self-released collection of songs was described as being, "Warm and enchanting" by the leading Irish Music publication Hotpress.
Fast forward to 2010, and Peter has just released his highly anticipated second album “Sleepless Street”.
