“Definitely not a wedding venue either of us would suggest, right honey?” Travis smiled. “Oh no, definitely not,” Hannah laughed.
“Remember when we searched and searched for a cucumber plant but couldn’t find one ANYWHERE?” Caiden jested.
He smacked her in the face with the snow once again. “And this snowball… is for the worst of all! Leaving Jamie without her mother.”
Casey and the other guy sat together awkwardly. "So umm...are you waiting for someone, man?" Casey asked trying not to look at him. The guy looked away. "Maybe. One of the girls told me to come and wait in here for her," he said.
“Me neither!” He smiled. “I normally skip them altogether… but I like to shake things up once in a while and rock on stage.”
“Yeah man. Sing your heart out. It can be good for the soul,” Caiden said as Ignacio walked towards him, ignoring Annabelle. “Singing is for llama boys,” Ignacio said.
As they stepped inside, they saw water fountains spouting everywhere in the cheesy, indoor facilities.
She landed in a new spot. “Oh, Summer! I think he’s gone!” she said to herself looking the other way as Caiden stood right beside her.
His mind was racing. Will Jamie understand? Will she look at me differently knowing I’m capable of something so horrible?
Leila’s face dropped. Even though she dumped him, for some reason it stung knowing how quickly he got over her.
"Oooo! I should grab some popcorn. Why don't they have a popcorn popper here at the library?" he thought.
Caiden smiled as a realization swept over him. “We’re going to win this thing,” he thought to himself.
“If there’s one thing I’ve learned from the Motherplant battle, it’s that life is too short to spend it with the wrong person. Leila wasn’t my person. Just… promise me, you’ll treat her right.”
Suddenly, his phone vibrated.
