I was watching the simpsons. My left leg got a bit destroyed with the watercolour brush. It didn´t hurt though.
In July 2007, convenience store chain 7-Eleven converted 11 of its stores in the United States and one in Canada into Kwik-E-Marts for promotion of The Simpsons Movie, which was released worldwide on July 27, 2007. The promotion had long been rumored, but the locations were kept a secret until the morning of July 1, when the 12 stores were made over with industrial foam.

simpsons in penzance is a now-rare survival of the 'ladies' and gentlemen's outfitters' familiar in every provincial town from the 50s to the 70s before the rise of branded clothing chain stores. the interior fitout here appears to date from the 1950s.
The business was started in the 1860s and is still family-run - there is a touch of 'are you being served?' about these places :)
'now online' seems like a shocking concession to modernity.
The Simpson Hotel sign in Mt. Dora, Florida. This structure was built in 1925, and opened as a hotel in 1947. It was owned by H.J. Simpson and managed by Blanche Simpson Erlick (from: www.geocities.com/yosemite/rapids/8428/hikeplans/mount_do...
If you can wait long enough, really bad photos like this one become interesting. Thius was acutrally developed this way with the uneven black surround. I darkened it and you can see the details (also the dirt and the damade) m8ch better. This was probably the car that later sat in a shed at Scott's childhood home in Liberty, Idaho.

Sergeant Timothy Simpson was killed when his patrol car was struck by a vehicle being operated by an intoxicated driver.
At approximately 10:30 pm Sergeant Simpson was en route to a robbery call when his patrol car was involved in a collision with a vehicle at the intersection of Allegheny Avenue and Aramingo Avenue. He was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
It was determined that the operator of the vehicle that struck Sergeant Simpson's patrol car was intoxicated and he was taken into custody.
Sergeant Simpson had served with the Philadelphia Police Department for 20 years and is survived by his wife and three children. He was assigned to the 24th District.
On May 3, 2008 Sergeant Simpson's former patrol partner, Sergeant Stephen Liczbinski, was shot and killed in the line of duty.
