Pagewood Farms Alyeska yarn - love, love, love. The yarn is wonderful.
I cast on at the top of the spine, worked in stockinette till I felt like I was near the end, and then put in some purl/eyelet ridges. So simple - and I love it. :)

this is the closest thing to the true color i could get it! it's a deep, rich purple, totally deserving of the name "velvet grapes."
