Our contribution of the January round of Memento Mori: The HR Giger inspired "Silent Scream Loveseat".
The Chair has 6 Landimpact and the dimensions: 2.0 x 1.6 x 1.5 meters. The Loveseat comes in PG Version (10 Single- and 10 Couple Animations) as well as Adult Version (10 Single, 10 couple and 16 Adult Animations).
Memento Mori openes January 15th 2017 and runs 4 weeks.

My friend's home has a rubber plantation... rows and rows of rubber trees... this one is always spiked my interest... it looked like it had arms spread out to the heavens with it's face upturned in a silent scream...
Trying to break free of worldly bonds???
As the full moon rises over the mountain ridge, the moon's orbit is at its closest approach (perigee) making this full moon a "supermoon". The dark areas on the moon remind me of a face, of Edvard Munch's famous expressionist artwork called "The Scream".

...AS I WAS EXPLORING THE CHILDRENS WARD OF THE LEGENDARY WEST PARK ASYLUM I GOT THAT WEIRD FEELING OF EUPHORIA OF CHILDREN SCREAMING AND CRYING ECHOING THROUGH THE CORRIDORS, IT WAS ONE OF THOSE EMOTIONAL TYPE OF EXPLORES SAD AND AMAZING AT THE SAME TIME.....

Installation in the Jewish Museum in Berlin (Libeskind) by Menashe Kadishman. Titled "Shalekhet (Fallen Leaves)", it is located in the Memory Void, one of the empty spaces of the Libeskind Building. Over 10,000 open-mouthed faces coarsely cut from heavy, circular iron plates cover the floor.
It is a memorial to the souls who perished at the hand of the Nazi regime. The faces vary in size from 2-8cm and as you walk over them they wobble and clash, echoing through the large concrete void. Each was hand made and boast a unique expression.
Perhaps the most appropriate and touching installation I have ever seen. It utilises the user as an active contributor to the art plunging the user into deep thought and contemplation.
Anyone ever suffered from depression.............?,this is how it looks ( to me ),a self portrait of sorts.
I dont expect many people to comment or even like this image but I did it to get a feeling out,
It worked.

Shot sitting on the ground at side of the Piazza del Campo trying to shelter from the rain. It was battering down and took everyone by suprise.
The look on the woman's face is one that will be familiar to Scottish people, you go on holiday and seem to take the rain with you. I was immediately reminded of a song by a band Travis, and a song called "Why does it Always Rain on Me"

Our odyssey commences in the dim recesses of the urban labyrinth. Alleyways and byways, oft-neglected, unfurl their clandestine chronicles through the dance of illumination and obscurity. The resplendent yet ephemeral blooms serve as a metaphor for those fleeting instants of magnificence and lucidity that punctuate the otherwise oppressive tedium of existence.

We all wear one. I just thought I should call attention to it.
I originally was going to make this picture very dark and moody, making the smiling face out of place but I'm glad I decided against it. I decided to go light and happy to make the screaming face out of place, because thats what I feel sometimes. Even when life is swell, my emotions don't always match what I think I should be feeling. If that made any sense at all.
I hate flickr sharpening. Its pretty bad. It looks a little better on black but only kinda.
