Brettenham Village Sign was provided by Brettenham Village Fund and erected in 1988. It stands on the Village Green, which is the triangle of land outside the Church and was registered Common
Land in 1968. It features the church of St. Mary The Virgin, the chancel of which can be seen centre-right behind the roadsign. Also featured are a wheatsheaf, chestnut tree and "Vinegar Bible", a copy of which is contained in the church. The wooden seat which can be partially seen in front of the church is dedicated to the memory of Mr Tom Horrex and was bought by the Fund in 1989 with a donation from the Village Hall Committee.

the astrological sign of scorpio is a water sign and is symbolized by the scorpion.. Scorpios are emotional, loyal, and passionate ... They are also known for being resourceful, observant and dynamic.. On the negative side they can be jealous, suspicious, manipulative and obsessive.
it's supposed to look as though i am the scorpion.. hmm.. not super thrilled with it.. but i ended up processing an outtake from a shoot a few days ago because it was very cloudy today and i just couldn't get outside to take a pic! yes, all my rules have been broken to the 365 :P but i am still going on!
my best friend from grade school kat is a scorpio.. happy birthday dear friend!
and for brenda.. i think you mentioned you were scorpio..happy b-day! and of course to my other friends who i may not know has had or will have a scorpio b-day. :) xoxoxo

You have to look closely, but if you do you can spot some telltale signs that winter is just around the corner...
Just some random tre shots after our first winter storm of the season (10 days in advance of winter -- not unheard of here, but not so common either).
We had about 10 inches over 2 days. Not bad.
The town sign close by a very busy road junction (behind and to the left of the viewer).
The low angle early morning sunlight illuminates part of the sign and planting area.

Lobster Pot - Provincetown, MA. Looks like a tourist/lobster trap. But actually really good food and plenty of lobster.

Old diner located in Middletown, Pennsylvania. I spotted this sign while driving through the business district of Middletown. I haven't eaten here yet but I'm told that the food is great.
