Musician and actor Steve Hofmeyr said he was sick and tired of government "spoon feeding" its people rubbish. "They say crime is down but it has been shown that it is becoming more violent and that crime in this country is five times higher than anywhere else in the world.
"Government should stop wasting taxpayers' money on name changes and start spending the money on making our streets safe, protecting our children, ensuring the elderly are safe and making sure that workers can go to work and return to their families in one piece and not in coffins," he said.
