Southbound on Queen Ka'ahumanu Highway toward Kona past the Pu'u Anahulu Lava Flow and the 1859 Lava Flow, which came off the north side of Muana Loa. To the right are surprisingly beautiful and rather unpopular (!) -probably due to poor roads- beaches that are in the Hawaiian State Park called Kekala Kai, and there is NO FEE to enter!!
