When I was trying to take a birthday photo of Flori I spotted SQL posing beautifully next to her - HMT & HMBT!

Photo taken at sunrise, but the sun failed to put in an appearance, so I had to brighten a rather dull photo 😊

I set the second try out last night and left it out until early afternoon today. when using 3-D object on a lumen, it's hard to get a clear impression.

Night temperatures in Tucson are dropping into the 40s. As greyhounds have very little body fat, they get cold on evening or early morning walks. Here Buddy tries on a coat and hood. He is not pleased at all. He thinks the colors are "girly". I have promised him a new coat...like a red plaid, something more mannish and becoming a champion.

This past weekend, AGR participated in the largest animal expo held in Arizona. Rescue groups of all kinds were represented from rats, to pot belly pigs, to birds to and on and on. Along with the rescue groups were demonstrations, vets, and products and services offered to animals.

In all, AGR had 19 volunteers working hard. At one point there were 17 greyhounds in and around our booth. We got credited with having the best behaved animals at the fair. You go Greyhounds!

Thanks to Cindy and David for photos.

Following a bout of standardisation at the end of the 70s, all SAM launchers were modified with an attachment system for the Sattelwaite 8x8 truck, using a compact system attached to the truck's cargo winch to raise and lower the racks without any special modifications to the truck.

They had 12 puppies!

Moto had an absolutely gorgeous girl come visit him from out of state for a little romance.

.

Lunch with Lulu did not transpire. Instead we settled for afternoon tea, al fresco. It's not that she's an Italian greyhound — she's properly proportioned, if petite — but it was fresh and this little sweetie took advantage of a warm embrace whenever she needed it. That was often.

Hers is not a "thousand yard stare". That's the sighthound gaze. See it, and you'll understand. It's the one that tightens your hand on the leash, or readies you to release the slip. None of that happened.

That was yesterday. Today her carers return Lulu to her family. I'm here, if ever she's feeling a chill in the air.
