Autumn
Puddle bokeh....just something fun I spotted on my way about the neighborhood. Yesterday was such a bright and fantastic autumn day, a real example of near perfect October weather.
there is much going on here in Poland at the moment. To all of the women here and abroad, I salute you in your courage and respect you always.

My goal with this series is to explore every day scenes under the cover of darkness. A street corner, a lamp post, a doorway. Big city, small town, urban, rural. Man-made light versus nature’s darkness–––light and shadow interpreting minimalist settings in black and white. To see more in this series, check out Cover Of Darkness
The sidewalk on the bridge is never plowed. Rather, the plow pushes the snow up against the concrete barrier making it impossible to a) walk on the sidewalk and more importantly b) cause me to stand a wee bit out on the road to get any shots of the water on the creek.
I may not always get to "thank you" or comment back on a comment that you might leave here on my image but, just know each comment is read and very much appreciated.

Lisbon, and many other cities in Portugal, have beautiful clean limestone "cobblestone" sidewalks. This design in Lisbon has a weird 3D effect which makes it seem that there are dips and humps in the sidewalk! However, it's perfectly flat and comfortable to walk on, though it made me dizzy at times...

Chalk is a form of limestone. It forms deep underwater. It is white, soft, porous, and among the many possible applications, it is used for writing on a blackboard. Sidewalk art uses a different kind of chalk. It is commonly made of gypsum and is available in several colors. The chalks in my picture are Sidewalk chalks. They are ¾” wide and come in very lovely colors.
