This nasty accident was enough to shake the conscience of the concerned government functionaries, who have not yet felt any need to check the nail pace of the dualization of this main road.
As many as 13 people have yet lost their lives in four fatal road accidents on this main road during the last two weeks, which was a point of grave concern for every one, leaving the some unanswered question marks on the alleged slackness and height of negligence of the Daska traffic police, which allegedly remain unable to check this reckless driving. The narrow ways and dangerous curves of this under construction main road were being resulted into loss of several lives (almost daily) in the fatal road accidents being occurred daily on this main road.

The Green Bee-eater, Merops orientalis, (sometimes Little Green Bee-eater) is a near passerine bird in the bee-eater family. It is resident but prone to seasonal movements and is found widely distributed across sub-Saharan Africa from Senegal and The Gambia to Ethiopia, the Nile valley, western Arabia and Asia through India to Vietnam.[2] They are mainly insect eaters and they are found in grassland, thin scrub and forest often quite far from water. Several regional plumage variations are known and several subspecies have been named.

Three heliographs apparent, and a possible 4th at centre rear. Also, square shutters on tripods - the signal manual mentioned these as an alternative modulation means for the heliographs. Begbie "BB" lamps, other signal lamps, signal flags and telescopes visible. Given the locale and the double straps on the case under one heliograph, I suspect some of these heliographs were patterns other than the English Mance pattern, such as the Indian Army pattern.
I personally scanned this image from my personal copy of the original, which appeared in "The Sketch", Jan 16, 1895, Vol. VIII No. 103, page 581, with this text above:
" From far-off Sialkot, in the Punjab, comes word of the success of Tommy Atkins at work, for the 2nd Battalion Royal Scots Fusiliers were first in signalling in India last year, with the phenomenal score of 491•46, thus beating the second regiment on the list by nearly seven points in the figure of merit."
A lower resolution may be found online at [1]
Another signalling distinction for the Royal Scots Fusiliers signallers - a few years later one was mentioned
in dispatches: The Relief of Chakdara 2nd August, 1897, From the Despatch of Major-General Sir Bindon Blood, K.C.B."... and E. Christian, Royal Scots Fusiliers, Signalling Officer, carried out their duties most satisfactorily. "
( The above is quoted from[2])

A condolence reference was held at Anwar Club Auditorium Sialkot her today, in which the speakers paid rich tributes to Prof. Asghar Saudai. While delivering his speech , the PML-N MPA Engineer Imran Ashraf said that the Naara-e-Pakistan “Pakistan Ka Matlab Kia ?, La Illaha Il-Allah” has now become the recognition of Prof. Asghar Saudai , who is also the son of soil of Sialkot , after the great poets Allama Iqbal and Faiz Ahmad Faiz.
On this occasion, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema revealed that the fame of this “Naara” could be guessed from this that every children in Pakistan and every person is often found saying “Pakistan ka Matlab Kia?, La Illaha Il-Allah”. He had also been the very close associate of Father of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Meanwhile, expressing grave concern over the sad demise of Prof. Saudai, the local social, educational and literary circles have described Prof. Asghar Saudai as a unique asset of Sialkot and also of Pakistan as well. He remained a victim of the height of negligence and apathy of the concerned government functionaries, as the Government of Pakistan has not yet awarded him “The Pride of Performance Award” to him following his meritorious services during the Pakistan Movement for Pakistan, Islam, education and national literature. They said that the Prof. Asghar Saudai (even after the two years of his death) still remains a victim of government apathy, in this regard.
They said that Prof. Asghar Saudai was fully deserved for Pride of Performance Award by the Government of Pakistan. They said that they were astonished that why the Government has not yet awarded him this award.

He said that this poem later became very popular among the Muslims and also became the voice of every Muslim, which also minimized the anti Islam and anti Pakistan propaganda by the Non- Muslims. He said that this poem has also paved the way of Pakistan Movement by reflecting the sentiments of every Muslim.
Prof. Asghar Saudai was of the view that the soil of Sialkot became invincible by giving birth to the Allama Iqbal (the great poet philosopher of the East, who ensilaged the idea of Pakistan). He said that there had been a dire need to do a lot for the promotion of the Allama Iqbal’s vision , but, sorry to say that no government has yet done nothing in practical in this regard.
In his last interview, Prof Asghar Saudai had also expressed grave concern over the miserable condition of dilapidating Iqbal Manzil (the birth place of Allama
Iqbal) in Sialkot. He urged the government to also honour its years-old commitment regarding the early establishment of an advanced research centre at Iqbal Manzil, besides, saving this dilapidating national heritage from collapsing. Prof. Asghar Saudai also urged the government to establish the direly needed “Aiwan-e-Iqbal” at Sialkot, besides, issuing the Ph.D
research classes on Iqbaliyat for the local, national and foreign research scholars at more than one century old Govt. Murray College Sialkot (the alma mater of Allama Iqbal)…#

The Baya Weaver (Ploceus philippinus) is a weaverbird found across South and Southeast Asia. Flocks of these birds are found in grasslands, cultivated areas, scrub and secondary growth and they are best known for their hanging retort shaped nests woven from leaves. These nest colonies are usually found on thorny trees or palm fronds and the nests are often built near water or hanging over water where predators cannot reach easily. They are widespread and common within their range but are prone to local, seasonal movements mainly in response to rain and food availability.
Male of burmanicus race with the bright yellow crown
Among the population variations, three subspecies are recognized. The nominate race philippinus is found through much of mainland India while burmanicus is found eastwards into Southeast Asia. The population in southwest India is darker above and referred to as subspecies travancoreensis.[
