A retired livestock inspector from Keonjhar, Odisha who took the initiative to built a 270 foot long bridge with his pension money. The temporary bridge is built with bamboo that was forcing the residents to row across water or walk on foot to reach their farmlands causing a lot of hardships.
The bridge would provide direct connectivity for villages of Kanpur, Soso, Daneipur, Padhiaripally, Niudani and Maichapada. His efforts have drawn the attention of the government towards the problem and they have offered to complete the bridge.
