LUG Showcase Preview
This is what I will show in the Lug Showcase on march 2015 because of 25 years M:Tron
Friday 7th October 2016 saw the Greater Manchester Police Band take part in a Musical Showcase at Bolton’s Victoria Hall.
The event was organised by band member Paul Heptinstall and was raising funds for the Brain Research Trust and Dementia UK. Paul also performed a solo set as Smooth Sax.
The event featured Manchester Show Choir and the pipes and drums of the Scots Guard’s Association.
Manchester based singer and songwriter Penny Nichols and singer John Norcott both preformed a selection of songs.
The evening was hosted by stand-up comic Chris Boyle.

You should call 101, the national non-emergency number, to report crime and other concerns that do not require an emergency response.
Always call 999 in an emergency, such as when a crime is in progress, violence is being used or threatened or where there is danger to life.
You can also call anonymously with information about crime to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Crimestoppers is an independent charity who will not want your name, just your information. Your call will not be traced or recorded and you do not have to go to court or give a statement.
Liverpool's first multiplex cinema.
It opened on 12 December 1989 with 12 screens.
Showcase cinemas all seem to be built to the same bland house-style.
Is that thing called a Marquee?
Whatever, it certainly makes the photo more interesting, as do the tower blocks, which have since been demolished.
This image showcases a multicolored human-shaped sculpture framed within a rectangular structure. The sculpture is composed of a dark, textured material with vibrant patches of color distributed throughout its body, giving it a modern and abstract aesthetic. The setting is an outdoor public space, with rows of flag poles visible in the background, suggesting it may be located in a park or exhibition area.
Guitar Showcase
3090 South Bascom Avenue, San Jose, California
Guitar Showcase is one of the shrinking number of independent guitar shops in the San Francisco Bay Area. My first memory of Guitar Showcase is from the mid-1970s, when they ordered a Fender Precision Bass neck for my oldest brother, who was building a bass of his own.
Since then I've bought and traded a few guitars and amps there. Now there's an official notice posted adjacent to the property, saying that the parcel will be redeveloped.
I hope that Guitar Showcase finds a new home, somewhere not far from where it's been for more than 50 years.
Other than being a satisfied customer, I have no connection with Guitar Showcase.

July 19, 2015 - Nature sometimes provides the best light.
I didn't even set this up.
I looked up from what I was reading as I was sipping my morning coffee and the only sunshine that was making its way into the windows landed right on top of the banana bread I baked late last night.
Seemed like it was begging for a photo.

Trying out the the 10years old Lumix 10 at Orchard Road (Christmas Festive). Still capture a decent low light imagery.
The last of the shots I took from the other night. A part detail shot looking over the bonnet across to the Fawley refinery in the distance. Light painted with fluro torch, I know there’s a catalog of errors with the shot but what the hell I like it and this is my level for the time being! Practice makes perfect after all ;)
Only had chance to process 3 shots from the night, they’ll be a couple more tomorrow!
I capped the front of each record cubby with a record. Now, to figure out rotation schedules and which albums to showcase each time...
