2022 Dorchester Center for the Arts Showcase event. This artwalk and street festival along historic High street in Cambridge is DCA’s way of “Celebrating our Creative Community,” and is a family-friendly free arts event, held rain or shine. The generous support of the Nathan Foundation, the Maryland State Arts Council, and the staff and volunteers of DCA have helped present this event for over 40 years.
There will be several stages for music and dance during the event, with the Eastern Shore Dance Academy kicking things off with their noon performance in front of the Dorchester County Courthouse. Food vendors will be offering up delectable Eastern Shore cuisine while local restaurants will be open for business. This juried event displays paintings, photography, ceramics, drawing/pastel, fiber/textiles, glass, jewelry, leather, wood, metal, mixed media, printmaking, sculpture, and found object; even heritage arts such as blacksmithing. Artists and artisans travel from all over Delmarva, with dozens returning to the event year after year, to fill this beautiful waterfront venue with creative and unique artwork for show and sale.
Visitors will also find an array of booths featuring area nonprofits, on hand to share their excellent work with event visitors. Artisan, food, and nonprofit groups interested in participating in Showcase are invited.

Everlasting Impressions - Showcase is a year-end étalage to the CVHS dance program with featured performances from the drama department.
The 2015 Shadow Showcase is the inaugural field show hosted by the newly formed Shadow Drum & Bugle Corps of Oregon, WI.
Showcase Restoration owns and operates a double inflatable bouncy house known as a “Fire Safety House.” The children bounce on the inside and learn about fire safety at the same time. This event is for the Fascinate-U Children’s Museum in Fayetteville, NC. This was a fundraising event.
We do not charge for any event. Other groups we support are the Fayetteville Fire Department, The Fayetteville Police Department, and Cumberland County First Responders. In 2015, we have completed over a dozen events.
The Showcase Cinemas in Dedham, MA, where I used to work concessions. With its closing, now every job I used to have in MA no longer exists.
Lots of memories - when I skipped out of high-school early on the opening day of "Return of the Jedi", this is where I went, to buy tickets for the kids who stayed until the closing bell.
I worked there in the summer of '88, after sophomore year at NYU - as one of the only workers over 18, this meant I had to work the late shift on Fri. + Sat. nights. Had to do shots of lemonade syrup to stay awake sometimes.
They're re-developing this whole area around Route 1 in Dedham - a few years from now the whole place will look completely different.

This theater is being demolished and replaced by a new theater building on the same property.
My greatest memory of this theater is calling in sick; along with my wife, when my one year old daughter was sick and we went to see 'Cars' for the first time - 6/13/06 at 1:00pm according to the ticket in her baby book.

The Showcase Lounge is a piece of the Executive Inn and it hangs over the Ohio River. It's being demolished soon so i wanted to do something kind of unique. The lounge actually sits over the River (hard to photograph--couldn't get close ..trees and overgrown plants..etc.etc.. and fences ... etc.etc... but i replaced through layering the river with a unique sunset. I then layered in the tower from the front of the hotel. All illustration was completed with Corel and everything was actually burned in and enamel or paint was not used. It was then transferred to Exposure 2 for a Fuji Pro 160C film effect
