Photo taken at Flight Path Museum at the south end of Los Angeles International Airport, covering the history of aviation, especially as it pertains to LAX.
Here is the United Airlines showcase at the museum. The mannequin is dressed in a Summer 1939 air hostess uniform.
As part of the library's 50th anniversary open house a technology showcase was setup to display the evolution of talking book players in the NLS program. This picture shows an evolution of talking book players from right to left starting with first wooden phonograph record player up to the new advance digital talking book player. In the background is a costume version of the C-1 player that the library uses for public demonstrations.

6:39.07 the time the sun arose on our last day in Paris. We were up early to take an express tour around the city before setting off for the Eurotunnel. We planned to seeing the Arc De Triomphe, Arc De Triomphe, The Louvre, Notre Dame, and one last look at the Eiffel tower again all before traffic got too busy.
This shot was just as the sun peaked over the horizon, to the right of the frame is the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur.
Shot through two panes of glass (one very dirty) hence thee double up sun and the large halo.
