This is my newest LEGO creation, Transcendent Shout.
A figure shouts with swirls of color. emanating with power. The build has around 7,000 pieces and uses every color of quarter-circle tile that exists (except for metallic).
“Transcendent Shout” is a further exploration of the stacked LEGO mosaic technique I developed in “Rainbow Heart” from 2021, pushing the technique to approach not just color blocking or blending, but actually painting with color.
The technique uses quarter-circle tiles placed on top of a second grayscale mosaic underlayer to increase the resolution of a 1x1 stud. This better represents organic shapes and allows for more detail in a smaller mosaic than would be needed to achieve the same effect using only 1x1 studs.
I don't normally do this, but I thought it was appropriate.

This is Shout - the beautiful Kentucky Mountain horse I photographed yesterday. Had so much fun - will post some of his "trick" shots in coming days - it's really amazing how talented he and his owner are!! Oh, and I got to ride him - what a treat!! The ranch is beautiful and as you can see - great background color!! Didn't feel like taking the fence out - maybe on another shot!!
