Thialf, 11 maart 2012. Laatste dag van de Europese kwalificatiewedstrijden shorttrack voor de Special Olympics. Heel anders fotograferen dan een “normale” shorttrackwedstrijd. Prachtig die inzet, de prestaties en alle plezier en blijdschap. Vanwege het grote aantal foto’s in deze set heb ik ze voor het uploaden verkleind van pixelbreedte 5184 naar 2000. Alle foto’s op iso 3200 en verder onbewerkt. Ik zal zorgen dat ze in de originele resolutie naar de organisatie gaan.

Selection of the second day of the Dutch National Championships shorttrack. Jaap Edenhal Amsterdam 6 january 2013. Trying different settings to get my new 7D body finetuned like the one I had before (total loss, happily insured), adjusting to different lights and another, further (audience) position at the track. Racing at Huntington Beach TT. Several of the results I have are dated in Sept. and Oct. of 1970. This is about the time that Kawasaki introduced their "Out of the box racer", the G31-M Centurian Baby Greenstreak. They were very fast. I never won the 100cc class, cause the Kawi's were just that good.

Sportboulevard Dordrecht, 11 februari 2012. Dag twee van de Worldcup shorttrack. Een goede dag voor het Nederlandse shorttrack. Volle hal, goede sfeer en mooie Nederlandse prestaties. Een foto-impressie. alle foto's vanaf de tribune en onbewerkt. Door het gebruik van lichtspots was het lastig fotograferen. Twee foto's na elkaar (en hij maakt er tot 8 per seconde) konden totaal verschillend belicht zijn. Toch zat er een aantal mooie bij van deze geweldige actiesport.
