And our first glimpse of Machu Picchu! You really have to approach it from above to appreciate it. (so not by bus)

I climbed up Wayna Picchu, the one on the right, the next day.

The place that Bingham missed (apparantly he walked just above it). Wiña Wayna.

Little did we know we had to walk all the way down there and then some to get to our hotel!

"Wiña Wayna" apparantly means "forever young", but is also the name of a plant that grows around here.
