Fly by, on a sunny day, in Cambridgeshire. Taken a while ago, but not previously uploaded. I have had to upload this again, as it disappeared into the ether, so I apologise, if you had commented or liked it !
On this occasion during the early evening of September in 2017, the Aurora was not visible at all to the naked eye - but revealed itself in a longer exposure. It was short-lived, unfortunately, as the clouds moved in and that was the end of the show - and the end of my Aurora posts for now. Time to move on again.

Started the day with a Shortie and ended it with one, the Peregrines filled the middle nicely as indeed did the bread pudding. :@)
A short-eared owl hunts for dinner in Shawangunk Grasslands National Wildlife Refuge (Wallkill, NY). Short-eared owls are currently endangerd in New York state.
