About the centre:

I went to take pictures of this famous shopping mall "MyZeil" but was somehow disappointed as the Christmas decoration was already up (first half of November) and there was a big building site at the front.
I tried to take some pictures nevertheless.

The Millennium tower is at 60 metres (200 ft), one of the highest wooden towers in the world. The tower houses an exhibition on the development of sciences, which is supported by many descriptive experiments with which the visitor can interact.
Der Jahrtausendturm wurde anlässlich der Bundesgartenschau 1999 im Magdeburger Elbauenpark errichtet. Darin befindet sich eine Ausstellung zur Entwicklung der Wissenschaften, mit vielen anschaulichen, teils interaktiven Experimenten.
This glass and steel edifice and sculptural spirals that look like a hyper-modern gallery space or a building from a science-fiction film is, in fact, the MyZeil Shopping Mall, the work of celebrated architect Massimiliano Fuksas in Frankfurt, Germany. Its spectacular steel and glass façade, particularly the vortex, is the conspicuous feature that draws in potential shoppers and sets it apart as iconic.

Departmental Store Lafayette in Berlin. Atrium Style Architecture, very interesting and a Must to see this in Berlin!

this lovely staircase.
Betws-y-coed is a village and community in the Conwy valley in Conwy County Borough, Wales, located in the historic county of Caernarfonshire, right on the boundary with Denbighshire, in the Gwydir Forest. It is now a very popular visitor destination in the Snowdonia National Park.
