About the centre:

K11 is a 61-floor skyscraper and shopping mall, completed in 2002, located near Huaihai Park in the former Luwan District of Shanghai.
It is 278 meters high and was built by Bregman and Hamann Architects. It overlooks the People's Square across the Yan'an Elevated Road. Formerly called the Hong Kong New World Tower (Chinese: 香港新世界大厦), the building was reopened on May 28, 2013 as K11 (source: WIKIPEDIA)

This glass and steel edifice and sculptural spirals that look like a hyper-modern gallery space or a building from a science-fiction film is, in fact, the MyZeil Shopping Mall, the work of celebrated architect Massimiliano Fuksas in Frankfurt, Germany. Its spectacular steel and glass façade, particularly the vortex, is the conspicuous feature that draws in potential shoppers and sets it apart as iconic.

Departmental Store Lafayette in Berlin. Atrium Style Architecture, very interesting and a Must to see this in Berlin!
Westfield World Trade Center (New York) The mall opened on August 16, 2016 as the largest shopping complex in Manhattan, with 125 retail spaces. It replaces the Mall at the World Trade Center, the underground shopping mall under the original World Trade Center, which was destroyed on September 11, 2001.

Die Calwer Passage ist ein Teil der Calwer Straße, die ihren Namen dem 1836 abgebrochenen Calwer Tor verdankt. Die Passage entstand 1975 bis 1978 unter Leitung der Architekten Kammerer + Belz und Partner.
In den 80er Jahren war dies ein Glanzpunkt modernen Städtebaus aus Marmor und Glas mit exklusiven Läden sowie zahlreichen Restaurants. Damals hatte diese Passage im Stuttgarter Raum Vorbildcharakter für weitere Projekte im Umland. Derzeit wird diese Shoppingmall modernisiert.
This was in the Dubai Mall. There were thousands of these on the ceiling. It was stunning. This is the largest mall in area in the world. There is a skating rink, a wonderful spot-TWG where we had afternoon tea. These malls have much more to offer than just shopping. I guess in the summer these places are a refuge.

Auch hier kann man Vergleiche zwischen Sakraler und
Kaufhausarchitektur anstellen. Wir haben auch hier ein Langhaus und ein Querhaus. Sogar einen Brunnen mit schon x-fach recyceltem Wasser. Wie es damals in einem Baptisterium mit dem Wassertausch gewesen ist, weiß ich nicht aber vorstellen kann man sich das...
