Having only 2 or 3 hours of sleep to get ready for holiday craft fair became norm recently. This was an extremely busy one.
The Annual General Meeting for the Victoria Drive Business Improvement Assoc. was held Sept. 30, 2020, at the Golden Swan Restaurant, on Victoria Dr. at 37th Ave. Masks in place, social distancing observed, the business of the AGM was conducted and a new Board of Directors for 2020-21 was elected.
The finale of the Victoria Drive Business Improvement Association's (VDBIA) Chinese New Year 2021 Shop Victoria Drive contest was a COVID safe celebration held on the new Jones Park Plaza at 38th & Victoria Drive, Vancouver BC. On hand was MLA for Vancouver-Kensington Mable Elmore and MP for Vancouver-Kingsway Don Davies along with Board, staff and volunteers from the VDBIA. Spring was in the air and so was a feeling of optimism as winners were announced and prizes distributed.
