Picture taken inside a major retailer’s last day in business. As I was making this image, the storewide annoucement said, “This store will be closing in 45 minutes. Everything is 90% off.” As I walked around the empty space, I couldn’t help but think of all the people who ever worked there, and the remaining employees, who were going to lose their jobs in 45 minutes.

Every other Saturday at one of the churches in the village. You can find everything from handmade goods to herbs, plants, eggs, pickles, preserves, honey, baked goods and more. There's also a bbq. Most of the vendors are local - some a little further than others, but still rural. We try to support local families by shopping at the local Farmers Markets. Shot for CC Week 24 challenge - Neighbourhood Photowalk. My earlier shot of the Yarker Falls was taken from the backyard of this church. Across the street from here is the local Fire Hall where municipal elections take place and the firefighters do carwashes to raise funds for local charities. The earlier scene of the waterfalls was shot from behind this church.
