Roe island road at low tide.
Long exposure using a 16 stop ND filter and firecrest holder.
The tide was out so took advantage to have a go at some late afternoon long exposures, bright and moody day with the clouds overhead and sun trying it's best to ruin the exposure although making use of this during processing, a moody sky and a pretty windy day all in all a fabulous day...
The P&O Azura, the P&O Ventura, and the Royal Princess are in Antigua. Looks like the Princess ship is parked all wonky! :)

The Picton Castle is a barque operating out of Nova Scotia. She is flagged in the Cook Islands. She was the first of the ships to get everything set. Way in the background you can see the Elissa.
Sainte Anne wurde 1742 vom französischen Entdeckungsreisenden Lazare Picault als erstem Europäer erreicht. 1770 entstand eine Siedlung. Sainte Anne Island is the largest (2.27 km²) of eight islands in Ste Anne Marine National Park of the Seychelles. These islands are part of the Mont Fleuri District of the Seychelles. It is 4 km off the east coast of Mahé and has abundant tropical vegetation. The highest peak on Sainte Anne is 246 meters (807 feet). The French explorer Lazare Picault first discovered the island in 1742, on the day of Saint Anne, and the first French settlement in the Seychelles was established here in 1770.

My intent was to try to do these spectacular sunrays a remote bit of justice, and to include silhouettes of these massive ships in the foreground of the capture. I tried framing this shot many different ways (closer / left / right / wider / etc.), but opted for this as I felt it best (though still not perfectly) captured all of the elements I was pursuing, including the clear blue sky above and beyond the clouds.
Phantom Ship is a small island in Crater Lake in the U.S. state of Oregon. It is a natural rock formation pillar which derives its name from its resemblance to a ghost ship, especially in foggy and low-light conditions.
When I was enjoying the last beams of the sunset I noticed a huge ship, called Marella DIscovery, in between the islands heading in towards Haugesund harbor
Carefully it was moving itself, it's very narrow here
Small houses on the islands
Sheep too
No bridges, you have to use a boat to come to these islands
It was acutally pretty cool to watch
I felt a simple awe
Such a huge ship and the captain and his crew sailed nicely in and anchored up
Wow
I adore captains
hehe
I'm after all a Viking Queen
The Panamanian registered bulk carrier called “Federal Island” sits in the Nanaimo, BC., harbour, waiting to be filled with its next load to be transported to Malaysia. This bulk carrier, 200m in length, floated at anchor in the sun as we passed by on our way to Tsawwassen ferry terminal from Duke Harbour, Nanaimo. Ferry passages between Vancouver Island and the B.C. mainland offer spectacular views of nature and marine vessels.

Kish Island, Iran
The Greek Ship is the nickname of a cargo steamship, Khoula F, that has been beached on the southwest coast of Kish Island, Iran, since 1966. She was built in Britain by William Hamilton and Company in Port Glasgow, Scotland, who launched her on 9 March 1943 as Empire Trumpet and completed her in April 1943. From 1946 to 1966 she passed through a series of British and Iranian owners and various changes of name. Her final owners were Greek, and it is from them that she derives her nickname.
In kish Island, the ship attracts tourists who come to view her at sunset.
