Cuando frecuentamos el club, encontramos inconsistencias muchas veces entre lo que nos decían y lo que podíamos observar, el Juan Martinez no es menos bullicioso que otros locales de las cuadras cercanas, los videos que ponen en los televisores del club también muestran reggaeton y la gente que acude a él también se encuentra otros días de la semana en otros bares, la diferencia radica en que el espacio físico es algo que aquí también pesa, la edificación da ese toque especial que nos mencionan algunas de las personas que entrevistamos, esa sensación acogedora.
Los jóvenes que visitan el local tienen la idea de humanizar lazos, casi la totalidad de los entrevistados mencionó lo agradable del lugar, la comodidad, la cercanía y la apertura a escuchar y ser escuchados por extraños, principalmente gente más vieja, que entran por un momento a sus vidas a través de historias e invitaciones
Trinta e duas moças se candidataram ao concurso que elegerá a Rainha e as Princesas da 30ª Oktoberfest de Blumenau. As inscrições encerraram na noite desta sexta-feira e o número surpreendeu a Comissão Organizadora da 29ª edição da festa.
De acordo com a comissão, nos últimos anos cresceu o interesse das moças em relação ao concurso, que elege a realeza da maior festa alemã das Américas. Devido a um trabalho intenso, nos últimos anos o concurso conquistou mais credibilidade, atraindo muitas candidatas que também vislumbram o crescimento pessoal e profissional, visto todo um preparo que é feito com as concorrentes antes da etapa final do concurso.
Enquanto se preparam para a eleição, realizada sempre no último dia da Oktoberfest - este ano será dia 28 de outubro - as moças passam por vários cursos, como oratória, conduta social, maquiagem, palestra sobre Blumenau, entre outros.
A Comissão Organizadora da festa destaca, inclusive, a parceria com a Communic, agência especializada em comunicação empresarial, que prepara as candidatas para o concurso há cerca de seis anos. A agência faz um belo trabalho de treinamento das candidatas, destaca a comissão organizadora.
Seletiva
Com o grande número de concorrentes, a Comissão Organizadora da 29ª Oktoberfest fará uma seletiva no dia 10 de setembro (data que pode sofrer alteração), para escolher as 10 finalistas ao concurso. A escolha será com júri convidado pela administração do Parque Vila Germânica.

At the range the stock rides the bags like a dream and in the field handles great, it also looks magnificent. **Blueprinted Remington 700, 243 Ackley Imp. (.271) Chamber Reamer from Dave Manson. Shilen 8' twist 26' Remington Varmint taper Leupold 8.5ײ5x50 LR Bryan Bianchin stock finishing and the clear coat.
Dave Bruno of Bruno's Precision (724)274 6607 did the chambering, stock work and action blueprinting. ** This is my third Tracker stock to date and for sure not the last.

Here are a couple of pictures of rifles we have built using your Tracker stocks. The Thumbhole is a Kelbly left hand round action, Shilen barrel and Jewell trigger with bottom safety.
Your Lee Six Modified Thumbhole stock, Sierra color with automotive clear coat. Brake is one of my own and the scope is a B&L sitting in Jewell rings. .
The 'Indian Paint' stock is your Varmint/benchrest and the action is a Nesika Hunter with Jewell trigger, Kostyshyn barrel, my brake, 30MM Zeiss with Burris rings and bases. Both rifles are chambered for .223 and 9" twists barrels.
This setup works well for fast shooting on the Prairie and hits are easy to call. Both were tested this Spring in White River SD.

Tight neck (.273) Shehane ST-1000 stock from Bill Shehane (D&B Supply) Rifle Basix ERV-3 trigger from Bob Brassfield at Rifle Basix Leupold VXII 6-18 from Bill at Bear Basin . Haven?t been out to the range yet, between finishing the stock etc and honey do?s. Hope to shoot it in the next couple of weeks. Have to work through this coming weekend, so it will be a bit. ..Mike

Dear Bill,
I am sending you a picture of my 6BR built on the Tracker stock that I picked for winning the Hickory Egg Shoot this year. When we spoke after the Egg Shoot, you seemed a little surprised that I chose the stock as the first prize. Before the match, I think I picked it up a dozen times! Even though there was more expensive stuff available, I?m still glad I chose the stock. Bill, I have shot most of the more popular stocks designed for this type of shooting over the past few years, and the Tracker is unquestionably the most stable, solid and repeatable stock I have ever used. It isn't bad looking either. Some particulars on the rifle. It was built by Clarence Hammond of Red Lion, Pennsylvania. It's a trued Remington 700 action with a Shilen 6mm-14 twist barrel, chambered in 6BR (.262 nk). It has a Jewell trigger, external bolt release and Clarence converted the action to single shot. It's pillar-block-bedded into the Shehane Tracker stock in the Groundhog Camo color.
Bill, usually it takes me some time to really get comfortable with a new stock, but that hasn?t been the case with this one. Literally, after 2 shots, it felt more natural and solid than any stock I have shot. Fireforming loads shot in the mid 2's, which got my attention. Now, with 70 rounds through it, two randomly selected loads both shoot high 1's, and one of these is with a production varmint bullet. I would like to thank you once again for making this stock one of prizes at the 2000 Egg Shoot !

Gran Kain was a free and uninhibited god. However, he made a very great mistake by seducing Shilen, his eldest daughter. They conducted an affair, avoiding the eyes of Einhasad, until Shilen became pregnant. When Einhasad found out, she became enraged. Stripping her daughter of her position as water goddess, Einhasad ordered Shilen banished from the continent. Gran Kain turned his back on the situation, and Shilen was left to deal with her fate alone.
While pregnant, Shilen fled to the East. Deep in the middle of a dark forest, she gave birth -- cursing Einhasad and Gran Kain with each excruciating labor pain.
The babies born of Shilen's horrible labor bore the despair and anger of her curses and became demons. Among them, the strongest creatures were called 'dragons.'
There were a total of six dragons born with curses against the six gods. Shilen was filled with wrath towards Einhasad who banished her, and towards Gran Kain who seduced and then abandoned her. Gathering the strength of her children, she created an army to punish the gods.
The strongest dragons were ordered to be at the front of the army of demons to fight against the gods. Hearing this, Aulakiria, the dragon of light, looked at Shilen with sad eyes and spoke.
"Mother, you don't know what you are doing. Do you really want the eternal destruction of the gods? Do you really want your father, mother and siblings to fall down on the ground in pools of their own blood?"
Her appeal did not change Shilen's mind.
At last, the demons invaded the palace where the gods lived, and a fierce battle began. The six dragons destroyed everything in the gods' palace. Even the gods were intimidated by the incredible power of the dragons. The battle seemed destined to continue forever. Yet, if the war did not stop, the world would cease to exist, and all living things would be annihilated.
Numerous god's messengers and demons were destroyed or vanished. Every day there was thunder and lightning, as strong forces clashed violently in the sky. Giants and the other living creatures of earth trembled as they observed the terrible fight in the sky.
The fierce battle continued for several years, and eventually the balance gradually tilted towards one side. In spite of suffering many injuries, Einhasad and Gran Kain, had stronger powers and destroyed many demons.
The dragons kept fighting, though they were deeply wounded and riddled with scars. Their fatigue became more and more apparent. After a time, it seemed like the war would come to an end with the extermination of Shilen's army. In the end, the dragons spread their wings and flew to the earth to escape. The surviving demons followed. The gods wanted to kill the retreating army. However, due to their own injuries, all they could do was watch as the dragons and demons departed.
As Shilen's children perished one by one and lost the war, Shilen could not stand her sadness. She invented The Underworld and ruled over it.
Extreme accuracy is the name of the game. This 22 PPC will put five bullets in a single hole at 100 yards. At 200 yards it is still one ragged hole.

It fires .22 long rifle rounds, utilizing Eley Match ammo. The rifle has a Mcmillan Benchrest stock; Jewell competition trigger, set to .5 ounce pull; Leupold Compeition Series 45 power scope. The rifle was built by Butch Hongisto of Sullivan, MO and cost approximately $5,000.
